Doc, there are so many bars near where we right now, I've been tempted over the last week to partake in my fair share of tequila, and possibly a few others. In fact, I just mentioned to my wife that we should both treat ourselves to some liquid refreshment next week, once things have calmed down.

In terms of any impending nuptials...I'll simply respond like I have with my two older daughters, whom others have attempted to have their sons betrothed: as worthy as I can imagine Sutton may be, let's let my daughter start crawling and get out of diapers before boys start calling. :)

It is not too early to start the college fund. Or the wedding reception fund, especially if you have 3 girls. :hi:

When your attrition rate is over 30% in less than a yr then yeh thats pretty bad. Look at our rb depth and our wr Corp who is made out of glass. How the hell we gonna last the whole season? Hell, we gotta get there first.

Every attrition other than D Payne was due to the kid making an idiotic mistake or they were butt hurt they weren't receiving playing time

The class was huge though. You saying the class was bad is making you sound like a fool. That class is deep and wide full of straight up ballers. It was one of the great turning points for our program.

From all accounts I've heard, spring injuries were high in quantity but not long term issues and our team will be healthy and ready to "Rise To The Top" by fall camp.

Let go of the lingering sadness you feel. Embrace the wonder of this journey with all of us. Even Catbone is on board.

Not a fool just telling you we lost a quarter of the class in about 8 months. I am on board but we are not deep at all on offense and the guys we lean on have a reputation for being injured.

We didn't "lose" them. They chose not to play for us by being idiots or quitting on the team. D Payne was the only player evaluated incorrectly (well, and Blair).

All of those things are true. But it doesn't make the class bad. We saw bad under 3 star Dooley. This is not that.

IMO just 1 more class away from national prominence. Depth has been, and will be, an issue but things are looking as good at UT as I've seen them since the late 90's/early 2000's. The attrition thing is a problem most places but with CBJ recruiting like he is, the depth won't be a problem anymore and folks can judge him and this staff on coaching ability, not personnel issues..

Idk. Don't think so. Not sure.

Creamer is working through some minor injuries and his play was limited. Will be fine moving forward. Bryant, if he can get his head wrapped around the mental side of MLB, could be an absolute monster. He will for sure be a special teams stud starting this year and a solid contributor at MLB when needed.

You got Bates starting?

30% isn't so bad especially when you consider how large that class was, 31 signees right? Can't sign 25+ without losing a handful each year. All part of the game.

I can see that...cannot wait to hear you explain Uncle Butchna and Uncle Catbone to the newlyweds..."No, they always argue and pick at each other like that when they're sober...no they haven't started drinking yet...they hug and fist bump a lot once they start drinking...yes, they are family...no,no,no not genetically related" :)
