Bryce Petty is the only QB outside of Winston I see fitting Whiz's system. It sickens me knowing Fulmer had Petty and Taj Boyd both committed to UT. I know Kiffin ran Petty off not 100% about Boyd.

Both actually, but it was more "you don't fit my system" than it was "get out."

At least that's what I have gleaned over the years...

I saw that up close. My brother lives in NW Arkansas and was given tickets right on the 50 very close to the field. Two guys in orange in an all red crowd. That return was on our side, and I almost felt like I could stick a leg out and stop him...because our guys certainly weren't going to do it.

Is Mark Helfrich a good coach or is he just riding Kelly's coattails and the beneficiary of inheriting Marcus Mariota as his QB?

What do you titans fans think about drafting mariota? I dont like it, I dont think he's an nfl qb. Imo they'd be better to trade today

I can't remember how many days I spent in therapy because of that. Thousands of dollars spent!

I disagree w DeerPark to an extent. Not very well versed ib legal affairs but I'm pretty sure a DA would of picked up the case had that been the case.

We will find that out this year. Has he recruited well? It doesn't seem like it from an outside perspective but I don't keep up with them. I heard more about them when Kelly was there.

I have been in favor of the Titans moving back and getting all the picks they can. This team stinks and has too many holes to fill. It will take 2-3 years to get that roster to playoff level. So getting Bradford and two first rounders, which is a possibility, is a winner in my book. Folks are asking too much of Mett to be good with nothing around him; including adding an experienced QB to compete against to make him and the team better.

Think Butch. Everybody competes for their job all of the time.

But I can't make myself believe they will actually do this right. They always blow it - it's a family tradition.

New rumor has Bradford going to Cleveland and the Titans getting the 12th and 19th picks. Titans want another pick which is holding up things.

Yeah. Absolutely pass on Mariota. Trade down and build the team. Keep Mett. See what Cardale Jones/Christian Hackenberg look like in next year's draft.

This is just a bad year for QBs.

Pisses me off that the Colts suck for one year and end up with Luck.

So stick with Mett this year and try to load up with picks. Then Rivers will probably come here next season. The Titans desperately need a RB. Sankey isn't going to cut it. Go after Gurley or Gordon. Then Mett has an RB, a good TE and WR's he can play with that will make him look better. Then start filling the rest of the gaps which is a lot. With no true RB or QB the offense will suck. Do not want Mariota or Bradford. I hope it gets crazy in the draft tonight with trades galore...

I already got a 6 day pack. I may have another one called in on Monday. Oh and Doc yanked the hell out of my leg checking it out and making sure the ligaments and everything else was fine. I was like damn Doc, I thought you were supposed to make me feel better. (I've known him forever so he kinda treats me like Dr. McCoy from Star Trek -- good doc but no kid gloves since we know each other).

Dammit Prof, I'm a doctor, not a stenographer. Don't you know that Tanglorian Lung Flu will destroy a man's will to attend footbal games?!? There are truly things worse than death, and this is one of them!
