They went with a boom-or-bust guy in the first round. Now they do the same with their second pick. They need to build a solid team with good players and not get guys who they HOPE can be great.

Totally agree. This is such a huge gamble with these players so far. I just don't get it. The titans have been lacking stability forever. And it continues in that trend..

He can be good #1 if he develops - it's going to take a few years, he's still very much unpolished as well - but he's likely not going to have that immediate dominance that comes from being a Moss/Johnson-type player.

The Boise back or the Indiana back would both be pretty good options for aspects of the offense that Whisenhunt has liked to run in the past.



Ajax probably has more long-term durability; Coleman's fast and productive.

But notice there was a huge drop from all the issues/flags; more so than everyone on the outside was expecting given the talent. (A lot more teams were completely passing on him than every fan thought would or should before the draft day started.)


He was 4 picks away from being a 3rd rounder.

I really like Jay Ajayi and Tevin Coleman as RB's.

No idea who is left as a Tackle but we need one. I do know that it's deep but there have been a lot of OL taken already.

Cowboys got a steal with Gregory. He's been a leader for Nebraska for a while and one failed drug test for a drug that's slowly becoming more and more legal doesn't concern me too much.

If he had slapped his girlfriend down a flight of stairs, maybe the Titans would've been more eager to draft him. Sigh...

Edit: I GOT IT, they're drafting La'El Collins.
