SEC spring breakout players

S Evan Berry, Tennessee: He's got the pedigree, no doubt. The younger brother of former Vol Eric Berry is a defensive back, too. But Evan, a former four-star prospect, didn't do much as a freshman last season. He only had five tackles in 13 games. But during this spring, a light appeared to come on. He showed a real nose for the football, hauling in interception after interception in practice. And then, in front of everyone, he led the team in tackles during the spring game with nine.

I completely agree. I think he was one of the top in the SEC in K/off returns.

I know it is weak to whine about opposing teams schedules but man if this isn't a cake walk for Missouri. It is going to be tough seeing them get more than 3 L's IMO.

@UGA is about the only game I would say would be a for sure loss for them and Miss St, TN and @Arkansas (all in the end of the season after they are able to get the positive momentum going again) are the only other toss ups.

They get USC, UF, Miss St, BYU and TN all at home and the only two tough road games.

Dat JJ scramble tho. Volatil, I know you're adamant that he's a QB but...that dude looks like a WR or a Saftey. I don't have a problem where he lands, as long as it's to the team's betterment. Hopefully he agrees.

Because...and I know it's only a spring game but...Dormady looks like the real deal. How we went from a near decade-long drought of real depth at QB to all of a sudden having four potential starting SEC QB's can only be explained by one thing...Butch Jones.

My favorite Titan of all time will always be Eddie George. Jalen Hurd is his clone, only a step or two faster. I've never been a big of comparing underclassmen to all-time greats but...he's like a hybrid Eric Dickerson / Eddie George. (PLEASE STAY HEALTHY. PLEASE STAY HEALTHY)



Bold prediction time:

This Sophomore & Freshman class will win an SEC Championship. I'm as much a realist as they come...understanding that there are a couple spots that are not deep and will need time and another class to fill the holes; this is a borderline elite SEC team RIGHT. NOW.

I have a guy I work with that is a huge Bama fan.Iam usually really reserved in my talk about the Vols around him but this morning for some reason was different.I gave into this incredible urge I've been with holding for a long time.As soon as I got with in ear shot I said Tom I have something I really need to tell you.As he leans in closer to hear my big secret. I yell Butch Jones is building a freaking monster of a program and you and the rest of these Bama band wagon fans will soon realize it.Maybe as soon as this year.He took 2 steps back and looked at me and said you know what your right.It felt so good to be just a little bit arrogant and cocky again.

Keeping with the snake theme, this was found a couple houses down from us today here on base in Turkey. I'm not sure what kind it was.

This is strange. I also work with a huge bammer fan named Tom and I also went off on him this morning, even though I'm generally pretty reserved. He said this morning that he didn't think Dooley was treated right and should have been given more time and that is why he doesn't like Butch. I yelled at all the crap Dooley did and praised Butch for coming so far after what he walked into here and then told him to get the hell out of my office with that nonsense! :eek:lol:

I don't work with bammers. They are mostly carnival folk you know and will cheat you out of your fried twinkie just as soon as look at you.
