Their O-line versus the best pass rush in the country. You be the judge!

yep. Their OL will get wrecked. Im not saying ours is good but it has progressed with experience. thats the name of the game at that position. UFs will do the same as they gain experience but this yr the OL at UF will be similiar to what we went through. Maybe worse. I just dont see them having a shot against our front.

I agree with this.

But Florida will still have a solid defense and they won't make it easy especially if we don't improve the OLine.

it also helps to not have a statue back there. If Grier is the starter they will feel some of the pain we felt seeing Worley behind a bad OL. The sack numbers went wayy down when Dobbs came on.

last yr when we played it was orr and cummings. neiron ball, fowler, Taylor, morrison. That is 6 of 7. Thats wtf im talking about. Who knows what morrison and davis will look like. Point is all those guys are gone/recovering. Lots of guys are new on your front. Bullard is not as scary as fowler or even close to it. Theres nothing about your linebackers (without morrison) that frightens anyone right now.

starting lineup is about useless though. All the guys i named played a ton of snaps. Plus about 40% of that lineup you listed is no longer there and/or is recovering. But ill see ya in September.

davis and taylor played alot of snaps.

Dobbs doesn't need a great OL nearly as much as Worley did.

He's perfectly fine with tucking and running it all day.

Circumstances are not at all similar this year against UF. Not sure why last year's game matters.

Dobbs starts all season last year and the OL gives up about 15 fewer sacks, IMO.

That's why I think whether they actually ARE greatly improved next season, Dobbs' mobility and the improvement in sacks allowed will make them look much, much better.

The run blocking was horrendous though

I doubt the coaches want Dobbs tucking and running it all day. Look for him to hand off quickly and throw it away much more this year. The last thing we need is for Dobbs to take a lot of hits, especially early in the season.

If it's not working against a good defense, Dobbs won't just sit back.

Another year in the S&C while running the same O with some good tweaks from an OC that has strong O-line and run game experience with depth at every position. We haven't seen that in a long time. And as stated already, Dobbs running an O that was created with his skill set in mind, along with talented young back up QBs who were recruited specifically with skill sets to run this O. Add in Kamara to go with a stronger/faster Hurd.

Comparing night and day here. The streak ends.

It got better once Dobbs became a treat to run it himself.

The threat of Dobbs being able to take off and pick up 30+ yards at a pop has a tendency to make defenses honest. Sometimes it's better not to flush the QB from the pocket.

No, of course not. But he doesn't have to scramble like mad this year. We have more offensive playmakers, and keeping Dobbs healthy will be a priority. The threat of him taking off will be there, but we'll gameplan differently.

How about American Pharoah? Something we haven't seen in a long, long time!

Pissed at Yahoo...plastered it on my alerts. Recorded on my DVR and wanted to watch it with my daughter. Been watching Triple Crown attempts since she was a baby and Smarty Jones was making an attempt.

Phenomenal horse! Definite 5 star. Just made his owners serious money today, as his worth for breeding just increased exponentially. He wasn't even challenged today...Espinoza still had a lot of horse after the race. He didn't look like he even broke a sweat.

I'm speaking in terms of the UF game, though.

Of course we'll game plan differently, but passing the ball probably won't work against that defense.

We got a new commitment today and I haven't seen anything on VN about it. Is everyone out partying!!!!

Welcome to Jeff George. WRs are a big need for 2016.
