Ran into Montario Hardesty last night in the Cleveland airport. Really cool guy, he was surprised I recognized him. Didn't realize he was a GA last year at UT but he told me he had taken a job at Norfolk State as RBs coach this season. He seemed pretty excited about Hurd and Kamara duo in the backfield this season.

Also, have to throw this in there, he was pretty excited as he was going to the Finals game Tuesday in CLE to cheer on my Cavs.

"Cool stroy bro"

Hardesty is one of the most underrated rb's in UT history. Loved watching him play.

This is my edit of what I was talking about. There's no problem with room changing the letters. Obviously I like this version better. :)

Your version looks bad because of the gaps that are left. The reason the edges were cut out of the other letters is because the preceding letters have a slanted edge. "N"s have no slanted edges

That reminds me...I wish Volunteer Traditions or whoever sells most of the tri-star decals would print something on the backing sheet or packaging explaining which way is up.

Drives me nuts because it seems like more than half the people that put them on their car have them upside down.

On the website, it has info about making sure it's oriented the right way.

"So you don't look like a dummy with your Tristar upside down it features an exact 90 degree angle you can peel from on the back so you get the exact 2 over 1 design - as explained on NPR"

The link to the NPR article is broken, but is supposed to go to this article:

I remembered this when I bought one for my own car.

Reading about Gruden at Tennessee's camp. I think, in a parallel universe where he comes here, our record over the past two years might be slightly better with him/his supposed all star NFL staff, but that staff would have fallen apart due to NFL jobs opening up and Gruden himself would probably be itching to get out of the college game and back into the pros already.

I think the Harbaugh saga at UM will show us exactly how it would have played out. They'll get 3-4 years from him max and he will jump back to the NFL, and there's no guarantee the program will be better off at that point.

Looking at the carnage he left behind in SF, I doubt NFL teams will be calling.

Who knows how much truth there is to it, but I've heard that the Titans might be interested in Gruden if Wisenhunt continues to flop.

I think it's more of an org issue not Harbaugh. NFL teams will come after Harbaugh every single year. He will be the top candidate at basically any opening moving forward. I think it's why recruiting hasn't really took off for him like you would expect. It's hard to trust he will even be there next yr

I kinda feel bad for Michigan fans. Outside of their Sugar Bowl season, they've been irrelevant/downright awful about as long as we have. But I would have to laugh if Harbaugh bailed on them after just one season.

Not like either couldn't have an NFL job right now if they wanted it.

I am not a 49ers fan, so I am not sure exactly what all the carnage was. I know they have had guys retire unexpectedly. He certainly appears to be a tough guy to play for, but it appears to me that their front office should take as much, if not more, of the blame. Harbaugh left it better than he got it, and they hired a DL coach as their head coach when it was appealing to some very good coordinators and maybe even other head coaches. Harbaugh has proven to be a great coach. I believe he has Michigan being much better in the next couple of years, and even if he leaves, the program will be better.

It's possible that that happens. But it's hard to imagine a scenario in which a guy like Harbaugh with his zeal for the game and the history he has there in AA doesn't leave the program better than he found it.

I'm a big fan of Jim Harbaugh, personally. I knew what he had done out at Stanford and with the 49ers but he really gained my respect when he told the social justice warriors at Michigan where they could stick their opinions on American Sniper. I think he's got a few screws loose in all the right places and I love it. He'll do big things up there.

Glad they did that.

What's really disappointing are all of the signs around the state from government functions that displayed the tri-star incorrectly. I just shook my head at all of the historic markers, election signs, and other official displays that had it wrong. There are quite a few on The Hill that I can recall from my days on campus.

I like that font, but I wish they could get some "R's" in there, or another "T". I also get confused when I try to read things not typed with "Times New Romans" or "Calibri".
