I think this team has earned a little extra optimism on our part. I've never been a gambler so being wrong doesn't cost me a thing save pride anyways. Keep the faith. GO VOLS!

I think we SHOULD do better than 8-4, barring a bad injury bug and/or an injury to any one of Dobbs/Hurd/Kamara/one of our non-freshmen LBs.

But if we do go 8-4 I don't think it would be terrible. We have a lot of talent but it's mostly young. Somewhat unpredictable at this point.

Exactly.

And we're young but NOT inexperienced. There's a lot of experienced yet young talent on this team.

HUGE difference.

Tennessee has major advantage over anybody on our schedule. We'll have the best QB on the field. And he's a big time playmaker.

You know, that's a pretty fair assessment and simple way of looking at it. QB play wins games. And our defense should give us the chance in every game.

You all are setting yourselves up for disappointment. One issue with this board is that people seem to think that UT is the only team in the SEC that will improve.

None of OU, UF, Arkansas, UGA, Bama, or Mizzou are sure wins. I know everyone thinks the talent is there, and I tend to agree; however, the majority of that talent is still pretty young.
Beat the toss ups 3/5.

Is Rashan Gary not visiting this weekend?

Sweet lord. What has been seen cannot be unseen.

So teeth are not optional.

I had low expectations for Bammers before I watched that train wreck. After viewing, there's no hope for those people IMO.
They're like an experimental / hybrid race of people.
