"And there ya have it from Paul Fortenberry, writer for Volquest."

Lol sorry guys. Was driving and then got to work and forgot to check back. He said he expects them to get the snaps at MLB from game 1.

Yup.....and there was just as much, if not more talent on the 99 team.

'96 & '97 too...pretty much every team from 1995 to 2001 was good enough to make the modern day 4 team playoff...but that 2000 Miami team was maybe one of the most talented teams ever. First round picks everywhere.

Should have won the whole dang thing. The letdown after the Florida game was amazing

It was an intriguing game. Ironic that the loss of LSU's starting quarterback saved them. The Vols' pass rush was relentless, but could not adjust quickly enough in the second half when the Tigers began to run the QB draw with the replacement.

They had 2nd string kids getting drafted. They had kids sitting the bench that went on to have great nfl careers. The depth they had at Rb and Dl was insane. The 2000 Miami team was the most loaded cf team I can ever remember and I am 48

I also like "South Carolina has put this one on ice with 4:52 to go"

Speaking of the South Carolina game, there's one play that would be pretty enraging if I was a Gamecocks fan:

Watch the defender at the 8 second mark. He is RIGHT behind Dobbs and makes no attempt whatsoever to tackle him. It really looks he has no intention of even trying to tackle him, either.

He was closing on Dobbs from behind, Dobbs cut hard to the right to avoid another defender, and the USC defender blew by him. There wasn't anything he could have done.

The angle makes it look like he's closer to Dobbs then he was, but once Dobbs makes the cut he has no shot. It also looks funny because Dobbs juked him unintentionally since he was just trying to dodge the guy in front of him.

The "spherical juke" -- a juke no matter which way you look at it.
