So they play tech and then get almost a month and a half rest before they play penn state then they get a month rest before they play michigan state and michigan. That schedule is almost a guaranteed trip to the playoff

That same Penn State team doesn't leave the state of Pennsylvania until that Ohio State game- in mid October. Just ridiculous.

Cocaine one helluva drug.

If the Vols sign around 14 4* or higher (Rivals) recruits in 2016 and there are no defections from 2015 (there will be, but just go with me on this), there will be 44 4* or higher players on the roster during the 2016 season.

2 from 2012 (Croom and O'Brien), 3 from 2013 (JRM, North, and Austin Sanders), 8 from 2014, 17 from 2015, 14 from 2016. Butch will also have signed 54 4* or better players through 4 classes (counting JUCO graduates and transfers/dismissals) despite the 2013 class being relatively lackluster in comparison to his next three.

The best part about that is that I expect the number of 4*s from 2016-2019 to be significantly higher. Could definitely reach 70 or more, IMO.

In conclusion, we still coming.

Yup. Even once the 2016 class is signed, sealed, and delivered, we will still be two classes away from "full power" under Butch with a relatively small senior class and only two non-JUCO redshirt seniors on the roster.

Although to be fair, almost all programs' recruiting classes that have been on campus for four or five years look very, very different than they did on their respective NSDs.

For all practical purposes, I think the rebuild will be 90% done once the 2016 class is here (probably 75% done right now). After that, we start losing guys from 2014 and we'll have to start replacing talent rather than stacking it.

We'll know UT has arrived talent-wise once we stop counting on freshman to contribute early. It's always great to have a kid make an impact early (see Barnett, Derek). But when you are counting on kids to come from HS to fill important roles, it's usually not a good thing.

That's true. We're still going to have plenty of youngsters on the field this year. But not nearly as many as last year. Last years freshmen had a gaping talent void waiting on them when they arrived. This year is a little different. We've got a lot more established and experienced talent returning.

Seen this on LSU's page. This is a joke. Wish we had a schedule like that so we could possibly go undefeated and be in the final 4.

When you have an easy schedule like this, many times it just sets you up to get smashed in playoff/bowl games. IMO you need to experience some adversity during the season to be able to deal with it in the post season.

Unfortunately, you run the risk of not making the playoffs if you play a tough schedule.

I hope this backfires on OSU.

well then forget it. I ******* love nick chubb. I got his autograph by stalking him after his practice. (he broke every tackle and scored every play btw). He's pretty much a goat rb lock. After winning the heisman, i might revoke my vfl card and become a dawg fan.

Honestly i'm likely to leave vn all together!

With the amount of talent Butch is recruiting, we're within a season of reloading not replacing. Might be semantics but, the connotation is there.

It sounds crazy but, guys like Maggitt, Dobbs, and Sutton could well be our Kirkland, Dormady, and Abernathy...

...or Kirkland, Dormady, and Martin.
...or Bryant, Jones, and Mosley.
...or Bates, Guarantano, and Hardeman.

I'm Asian, so I'm all about that tea. So much cheaper too. Quality tea can be as cheap as 2 cents per cup. (2 gram serving).

If anyone is interested, try the brand "The Tao of Tea", often found at Marshall's and TJ Maxx

I too experience the bathroom phenomenon

Loose leaf FTW.

When I go to England, the tea is fantastic, even in the soup kitchens where I was working. Then I come home and buy every tea imaginable and none of it is nearly as good. Any of you tea experts care to weigh in? Does the UK get all the good stuff?

If you're getting it from a grocery store, that's likely the problem. It's blended to American tastes here. There it's blended to various British tastes. Personally, I go loose leaf, but more important is to just find something you like.

If you knew what they served, you could also order it online. Water source and preparation are also very important.

Sorry, back to football.

They just tweeted the vols will be playing Georgia Tech september 4th, 2017. As a student playing on a Monday night is terribly disappointing.
