Out of all people, Bruce was one of the last I expected to be suspended for something like that. I got the impression he was an incredibly hard worker

How you going to already be suspended for what is probably academics after one summer semester? Cmon dude get your act together. That is just flat out lazy and not going to cut it with this staff

I do recall someone mentioning he had some work to do to get eligible before he ended up enrolling. It was part of why he wasn't announced on NSD.

If Butch can't beat them this year, it will be very tough for me to continue believing that he's the guy.

All the ingredients are there to finally win. A slight overall talent advantage, a mobile QB, two great RBs, an established system going up against a first-year system, a slight overall edge in the trenches (and the biggest mismatch of the game in our DL vs their OL), and a zero pressure game with it being played away from Neyland.

Oh, and it's probably the one game Butch wants this year more than any other. The loss last year devastated him, and if 365 days of stewing on it aren't enough for him to motivate the team to kick Gator ass, I don't know what will.

I think Florida could end up getting beat bad in this game. There's a lot of bad feelings to amend.

It's so great to see former weaknesses on our team becoming strengths. Nothing against Marlin, but I convinced myself he was the RB of the future. Now we have a workhorse in Hurd and a supposed sick backup in Kamara. Same with DBs. Remember when Izaua Lanier was our best corner? Lol. And finally DT. Who would have guessed we'd get two top 5 DTs in the same class 4 years ago? I remember hearing "we have McCullers coming in. We'll be fine." Lol. Boys,
the future looks bright.

This is fair IMO. With talent equal he has to prove he's a better coach. You can't just assemble Sunday Bodies and not outcoach a man.

Good thing is I believe DeBord is the ace in the hole here... No extensive film to study with his imprint on a Power spread. There's no telling what this cat has brewing.
