good Lord, did you see how average we were last year? except off. line which was awful.

Ya know i did get a chance to catch a couple of our games last year. Thanks for filling in my blind spots though.

You can hold past Tennessee sins against Team 119, but I won't do it. I see a hungry young team with championship talent at the majority of positions.

Its more than just looking at last year. It's looking at last year and asking yourself what changed? Where are we better? Where are worse? Where did we lose players? Where did we gain players? What caliber are those players? Are we well coached? Are we a disciplined football team that got better as the year went on? Yep.

Last year was the ultimate rebuilding year. It was a textbook "take your lumps for the future" season. Not only did we take our lumps, but we found a QB, developed some freshman studs on both sides of the ball, went to a bowl game, and showed out and whipped ass in January when everybody was watching. Oh an then we snagged another top 5 recruiting class. Id say that's a pretty successful rebuilding year.

The future starts now. It's never going to be perfect or easy. The road to championships is never going to look clear from right here. It only will once we make it. And you can't make it without the talent to give yourself the opportunity.

And yes. We now have the talent to get some of these opportunities. Will we reach out and grab them? I don't know. But sports are funny sometimes. Every now and then the good guys find some magic. So dont give up on Team 119 before the season starts. Be negative. Be whatever. But give this team a chance. This team is our best shot at getting back to the glory days.

You forgot Rommel. How could you forget Rommel?

That's pretty incredible considering Cam Sutton was on the other side and teams would go after Moseley's side to stay away from him.

I think this shows how often Coleman, McNeill & Randolph were targeted when they were in coverage.

It just points more to the importance of upgrading that nickel position. Here's hoping that Gaulden is ready to play, because he'll be targeted a lot. If Cam has to play there more, Martin better step up on the outside.

Best matchup for opposing coaches involved putting No.1 WRs in the slot. We were going cover 0 with safeties or Coleman on their best guys. I truly hope we've solved this schematic issue this year.

I wish we could find a way to get Brandolph, Kelly, Martin, Sutton, and McNeil as our backfield. Mcneil cleaning up the runs and the other 4 in coverage. Kelly, Martin, and Sutton are candidates to house a pic at all times.
