So continued good news for my baby girl, Ashlee. Her blood and arterial gases have continued to improve, her liver, kidneys, and lungs have begun to improve. Ultrasound of the head and abdomen came back normal.

That said, today was very hard while simultaneously being good. Her cardiologist said her surgery will not be until next mid to late next week. Her body just isn't stable enough yet for surgery BUT it is improving. Having to wait this out another week will be a trial by fire for teaching me patience.

Her mother and I both came home to be with our other two girls. We both had to stop as we were walking down the hallway leaving PCICU...that was the hardest walk I've ever had to make.

However, this morning a family friend of my wife's called her to tell her their youngest son had the EXACT SAME heart defect (aortic coarctation) as a 6 month old and is a completely normal, rambunctious four year old. Hearing from her and firing questions at her and getting nothing but great news put peace in our hearts.

Thank you all once again for your prayers.

Praying for you and yours.

I'm posting this from Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. My beautiful four day old baby girl is currently intubated and has been diagnosed with a congenital heart defect and is going to require heart surgery.

All I ask for is prayers. We're getting reports that are as good as we can hope for at this point but surgery is forthcoming.

Thanks in advance.

Praying brother..

I know we're not there yet from an experience standpoint, but this very well could be overall the deepest, most talented Vol team since 2004, maybe 2001. Hard not to get excited.

If the OL is even average by SEC standards this year, then we have a really good shot of winning the East.

According to Finebaum, there's a "chance" that Braxton Miller will transfer to Bama. In his PC today, Saban didn't exactly shoot the rumor down. He said they have 1-2 spots available for a grad transfer.

Miller is an upgrade to Blake Sims. Barnett Is probably the best out of the 5 of them.

Idk man, read my posts. I said Sutton doesn't get the recognition bc he doesn't have a lot of flashy plays and a lot of big hits. People disagreed, so I said point me in the direction of these plays.

No one could, man

If you really felt like Sutton was that good of a player his "lack of" flashy plays and big hits would not be an issue with you because opposing teams go away from him. It's quite clear to most people on here that you like to argue (or debate) to hear your head roar. As you get older hopefully you will learn how to control that desire to needlessly argue with others. It would do you good sometimes to just log off and go sit on the front porch and drink a nice cold sarsaparilla. It would be good for the rest of us too.

I wondered if Miller leaving was still a possibility. There is just no way those 3 guys can remain on the same team, especially with Miller as a senior.

Miller will be an upgrade simply because all of the Bama QB's have looked like hot slaw so far. Barnett has the highest upside but Saban is not about to hand over the reigns to a true freshman.

I will say that I do not think Miller will be as good at Alabama as he was at Ohio St. He is not a pro style QB whatsoever. At least Sims had a few years of learning the system and holding a clipboard before he got out there. Saban is getting desperate imo and I like it.

Didn't get to see the news so I'm not sure if he was on it or not. They interviewed a few players.

I can't believe somebody -- anybody -- didn't step up to help the coach. Surely there were students or teachers in the vicinity.

Hurd and Dobbs with an OL. Yeah they need to worry. And Kamara and the WRs to the mix. Yeah even scarier for the enemy. Now we need Wolf to be consistent at TE.

Unlimited weapons when you really gloss over the roster. I really like how Debord wants to get Hurd and Kamara together on the field as much as possible and move them around. It really adds another dynamic to the offense.

Wolf just need to get lower after the catch and stop running so upright. He is constantly getting flipped on his head by low hits and nearly coughing up the ball.
