Some student apparently beat the crap out of the HC in class. He is in ER with multiple head injuries. I saw one player saying the kid was a coward and insinuated it was a blindsided move and coach wasn't even standing up. Sounds like a straight beotch move by a punk kid

MURFREESBORO, TN (WSMV) -
Riverdale High School head football coach Ron Aydelott was transported to the hospital after allegedly being assaulted by a student Tuesday morning.

The Rutherford County Sheriff's Office said in a press release the 17-year-old junior accused of attacking Aydelott has been charged with aggravated assault.

The press release said the attack occurred at 10:15 a.m.

The release said Aydelott, who came to Riverdale as football coach to start the 2006 school year, was seriously injured. Aydelott was initially taken to St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro.

The extent of Aydelott's injuries are not known.

I think the link should say "Assaulted by student", not stud.

Looks like updated info coming out. It was some kid that wasn't on football team but supposedly wanted to tryout. They don't know what started argument or not saying yet one. coach was sitting at desk and this 17yr old kid went nuts and started beating the crap out of him. He finally stopped and turned himself in to the principals office.

Kids are out of control these days and it's getting worse. They have no understanding of consequences.

He has been transferred to Vandy for surgery. It must be really bad

There will be 3 corners taken in the 1st next year. Cam will be one with VH3 and Fuller

Fuller better play much better this year.

Ramsey is an impact safety and will go high. One of the best safety prospects here in the last few years.

HG your a good poster but I think #15 at LSU is actually a better WR than Treadwell but that takes nothing away from him cause he is def a Top 3 WR in the nation. If Dupree had a better QB he would be gettin the VH3 hype LOL
