Maybe I'm missing something but why would there be heat on Butch Jones? I mean, Assuming he handles it quickly and decisively.

He Can't control kids making stupid decisions. And it seems like he tries to do things to limit them making bad choices. Such as the no bars during the season

But he can't hold their hands 24/7

I agree with you but having two incidents so close together is going to be a bad look.

The only way it should fall on Butch Jones would be if he tries to cover something like this up or doesn't give the appropriate punishment in situations like this. Jimbo Fisher doesn't get heat because his players do bad things. He gets heat because he does nothing to discipline them and it seems like he tries to cover stuff up.

Correct, but there will be plenty of finger pointing and questioning of how he runs the program.

Why do talented athletes have to be some of the most cripplingly dumb people in the world? I mean one would expect for at least base levels of reasoning and maybe even a touch of logic to be possessed by a 14 year old let alone someone that is 20.

I really just want to take a baseball bat to some people so that their stupid ass selves can finally understand that maybe you shouldn't break the ****ing law. Just to be in a position to be accused of this **** you should be severely beaten to correct you and scare the rest of the athletes.

Hate it everytime when a player who is given such an opportunity embarrasses the university, the football program, and most of all themselves. Hopefully justice, whatever it is, will be served.

I agree. People could potentially see this as a pattern though and question Butch Jones. I think that was all he was saying. Could be wrong though.
