Would be horrible timing, seeing as how Tennessee is hosting about 800 high school players and their families this weekend.

The biggest hit for this team and the university will be PR.

And don't blast me for not mentioning the welfare of the young lady. Of course I hope she's ok and her family and friends are there to support her. This is a UT football recruiting message board and I'm focused on how this situation affects our recruiting.

Yea, me too. If it's more than him, it becomes a much bigger deal --- from both a PR and gameday perspective.

Honestly, they won't. It will always be a problem. Alcohol + parties makes you do stupid things.

I did. But if I had to pick a position group, WR would be my choice.

In that way, we were actually lucky this time. Stuff like this happens to high profile athletes on every campus. It's just life. We should be thankful it didn't involve a CB or RB or LB.

IF this involves more than one player and IF happened to be one of the the positions I just mentioned, it would become a much bigger issue.

And again, please save the "I'm ignoring the girl" comments. This is strictly a football discussion.
