I have not seen from Dobbs what so many people on here are claiming. He throws a few bad balls, but overall I think he's serviceable at passing the ball downfield. As good as Worley, at least.

The playcalling and OL won't even give him the chance.

Nice post in the FF game thread about Butch over thinking situations. Seems like we are seeing this a lot where minor decisions seem inexplicable and as such project anxiety.

If a coach has to resort to barring reporters than he isn't the right man for the 3 Million dollar job he signed up for.

I'm not saying g the reporters have to be A-holes, and act like they have the solution but we want to know if he Is trying to find the solution .
It sure seems we do the same dumb ****, over and over and over.

My biggest fear is that Butch is going to get more time, and we are going to waste all of this talent. Yes, I know he recruited them, but a lot it is homegrown or legacies.

Well, we're only going to keep signing more homegrown guys as the Nashville area continues to explode. Next year's class is huge; those guys need to come to UT.

That's true, but put yourselves in a reporter's shoes: they could lose their job potentially if they were barred or limited in covering the program. And it's not like they're going to get Butch to admit a mistake or really change anything if they're too rough on Butch in a press conference.

They're better off just lobbing him softballs and writing articles poking holes in the BS he feeds them.
