I am going to admit that I am supposed to go to the AR game next week and have no desire to go. I'm going for my son who will get to see his cousins but if not for that I would cancel.
Could we have gotten the wideouts the ball more no question about it we could. But the offense moved the ball. I understand we a next level athletes on the outside but what we were doing offensively was workin. If it wasn't then u have to adjust but it did. But I agree I'm not sure about the situation either. But we have to do something.
Malone shouldn't be used.....
Williams, Pearson, and North on that.
Teams with trash WRs attacked Florida. Our coaches were scared of a banged up secondary.
When you rely on trick plays to gain a huge percentage of your yards and a large percentage of your points, results like yesterday are the norm.Well those plays count as well. He gets credit for those
We dominated on the ground. Besides there isn't one poster here that thought we could lose AND dominate on the ground.
Yep he has to win the next 3 to get me back to believing he can do it. As of now I'd prefer he move on and let us hire a big name coach that wants to coach some studs to a championship
A little OT this morning, but I'm baffled by how bad Auburn is. I know they have QB issues, but wtf? What they are experiencing right now would be the equivalent to Butch reeling in two more top 10/top 5 classes and then the team being completely awful in 2017.
They have a ridiculous amount of talent but they aren't good at anything.
The elephant in the room is DOBBS.
We, VolNation, the coaches, the team, everyone wants Dobbs to be successful, and there is not a nicer young man in the U.S. He is bright, articulate, a great person, and a good/great runner. He handles the ball well, and is composed. He just is not a good passer. The fact that he is such a good runner helps Hurd and Kamara.
Having said that we are still one dimensional, relying on just the run. If we can't line up on first down with a pass threat then we are in trouble in the 4th quarter. God, we are so close. One additional 1st down in two straight games and we are undefeated. But they know we are not going to throw the ball because they don't trust Dobbs. And Butch has told us and the opposing coaches that for 2 1/2 years.
The coaching staff has an awful decision to make. Keep starting Dobbs and wait until Dormady is ready or bite the bullet and make the change now, maybe too early. But that is why he makes the big bucks, to make those decisions.

You aren't Volatil. We have a bad O line and freshman MLB. And we are competing again. Things are getting better. We are climbing the SEC ladder after being cellar dwellers. Are we ready to win the SEC? No.
IMO, you can't put anything on Dobbs until they give him a real opportunity to sink or swim in the passing game. Just throw him in the deep end and see what happens, I'll bet he surprises people. Instead, our staff keeps him in the baby pool with water wings on. Not possible to judge him at this point.
Also, still wondering why TK Jr. is splitting time. He reminds me of Tyron Matheui . He is constantly around the ball and making plays.
