Worked out really well against Georgia. Those screen passes set up a couple of the TD's we got, and several of the longer runs.

Yep if you use them to set up bigger plays it works out fine. He wasn't really doing that early on for whatever reason. Execution maybe?

Maybe it's just me but I'm much more impressed with Debord this year than Jancek. Oline has been A LOT better than last year. We're second in the SEC I believe in rushing and 19th in the nation. Some of the end of game defensive calls have been very questionable IMO as well.

depth and development

we have more on offense than defense

overall i feel like this staff is doing their part where they have the talent and people to do it

there are some missed opportunities that frustrate me though

Close, 4th in the SEC and 32nd in the country and most of those teams yards are from their RBs. Take Dobbs out of that and its a drastic difference.

So *IF* we beat Bama, and win out, UF must lose to UGA and either SC or Vandy for us to win the east.

If we lose to Bama, then win out, UF must lose to UGA, and either SC or Vandy and UGA must lose to another game for us to win the East, possibly Auburn or UK.

*UK can theoretically lose to us but win out in the second scenario, forcing a 4 way tie, in which I have no clue what happens.

While I get what you are saying, most of the team rushing leaders are ranked highly because their QB also runs the ball. All of the service academies, Georgia Southern, and Georgia Tech are all up there. If you take away their QB, then they fall off. Plus, TCU is ranked just above UT, and they aren't an option offense. Boykin has over 400 yards rushing. While I understand that it may not mean that our RB's are really dominant, it's a good thing to have another threat to run the ball.

Given the way the system works, why would you take out Dobbs' yards?

Some are off of scrambles, but a lot are from designed QB options or straight QB keeps.

We should be. But let's hope the Georgia game was a turning point for the staff and the team -- learning how to win and learning to play and coach hard for four quarters doing it. No quarter given or expected.

If we can learn that lesson NOW it may save us heartbreak in the future. If blowing it against OU and UF ultimately leads to something greater down the line, it will have been worth it.

Arky beat us, but I believe had we actually won the OK and FL games.......Arky would have been a win too.

5-1 ought to be worst case, but I truly believe we SHOULD be 6-0 right now.

We didn't.....We aren't.....Let's just win the rest.
