Arky beat us, but I believe had we actually won the OK and FL games.......Arky would have been a win too.

5-1 ought to be worst case, but I truly believe we SHOULD be 6-0 right now.

We didn't.....We aren't.....Let's just win the rest.

I personally think the Arkansas game was a result of the Florida game. The players were hungover from the loss while Florida was riding the wave of the win when they dominated Ole Miss.

My thoughts too.

I'm actually more forgiving of the Arkansas loss than I am the other two, but probably because I feel we would have won, if not for the loss the week before.

Utvols88 or anyone else-
Sorry that I am asking this here, but the off topic thread isn't getting much traffic. My family and I are driving back from Miami to TN and considering staying a night or two in NE Florida. Jacksonville or St. Augustine? Also, what are decent areas for a hotel? Not too pricey, but I have 3 young kids.

Appreciate any info.

St . Augustine is defo a more touristy town . don't get that far north much so no help on motels/hotels .

Lived on Jax Beach for a few months , thats nice .

Get up to North Jax on the International Airport exit. Lots of hotels and restaurants etc.

My family vacations in St Augustine very year. Very family-oriented place. And this time of the year I bet it's not too crowded and you could probably get a decent price on a place to stay. I think there's a courtyard by mariott close to the interstate that you could probably get for around or under 100 for a suite which would be big enough to sleep your fam.

If you go to St Augustine, and you like fried shrimp make sure you go to O'Steens.

If you are staying two nights, St. Augustine near downtown. If in jacksonville, the airport area might be out of your way as you're probably taking 75 to TN. I'd stay near Butler Blvd or town center for the most safe area. Traffic will be crazy since they are reconfiguring that exit. I'd honestly go St. Augustine though. Check out the fort, ripleys and other tourist attractions the next day. Jmo.

A lot of people love Osteens. I don't like seafood (although I'm from Florida) so I couldnt be of value on that.

I gave a guide to Jacksonville during the bowl game and made it a thread so if you can find it, I think it'll give good places in jax. I'm on the road at the moment so I can't get the link. :hi:

I appreciate it. Thanks to everyone else for your input.

Kind of gives you an idea of what life is like for an athlete in a big time school.

Also gives some insight on the type of women Von Pearson and AJ Johnson may have had.

Reading stuff like that makes me wish that I had tried harder at sports as a kid, but then I remember the kids in my region who were exceedingly better than me and all of my friends still weren't good enough to get scholarships anywhere.

Off subject, but everybody be like, "ooh... I want to live in a box truck, or a tiny shack on a trailer to help the world."

I be like, "Neat. Can I have your house, that apparently is way too big for you?"

Can't post that on FB, cause cats be all up in my grill

Carry on :hi:

If Mo West beats Sevier County then we are winning Saturday. Last time they won against Sevier County Tennessee broke an 11 game losing streak to Alabama

Gen X went into debt for big houses and cars. millennials go into debt over tiny urban houses and shacks
