If the red zone play calling stays similar to the Georgia game, I don't see how anyone could complain. The fumble is on the players, not play call. The possession we ended with a field goal should've been a touchdown if wolf came down with a catchable ball, and the others were all touchdowns

All year, little to no fading

That's because if no Croom or North who you would throw those to. Williams im has gotten one thrown his way each game he has played. Malone isn't very good at them unless he changed mentality. Anytime I have seen him try he lets the DB control it. I haven't seen Jennings try one for some reason maybe since he is new to it. I would let Pearson have a shot. He was good at it in Juco and before his issue.

"And look for Cody Blanc, as the Vols try to find healthy bodies at wideout, to perhaps have a shot to make his season debut. Preston Williams has been among those banged up and battling some nagging ailments as well."
-Hubbs in the WR last night

He never said for sure he would play.

So that caused the slight wtf is going on freak out? Smh that's nothing. When has Preston not been banged up. He is less than a year removed from knee surgery of course he isn't full strength.

I don't know why they don't use Von outside... Also, Malone cause a back shoulder fade last year vs them for a TD

Bama's secondary has gotten a lot better. Our tall receivers can be the difference makers if Dobbs can throw downfield and they go up and get the ball. Eddie Jackson is only 6'. North, Malone or PWilly can beat him.

Chad Ocho-Cinco to the vols as receiver coach. Coming to UT to coach his nephew. Charles Johnson will also help with the baseball team and hes going to pay sons tuition to save a scholarship for someone else.

Congrats on the babygirl. Daughters are special to a dad. Have three of em myself. Enjoy

My one point of contention would be this is Bama week. And Roman Harper is the bama player who caused Anderson to fumble out of the back of the end zone in what would end up being a 6-3 loss.

Bama week. Come on man. Ha

Also weird, with it being bama week, that you would assign her a middle name that is also the name of a movie in which Saban was the star (but at least Ice Man was the co-star)

Ok, I just heard it on RTI and I've heard this too many times this week: "Saban and Bama underestimated/weren't ready for Josh Dobbs last year..."

Do people honestly believe that? Saban, supposed Defensive Football Wizard, somehow spent his entire week prepping for Peterman? He had zero clue how to handle Dobbs coming in?

No they probably expected Dobbs, he's just better than they expected him to be. They underestimated him.

Climer retiring from Tennessean

For anyone who may be wondering if DD4ME is pulling some kind of cruel hoax on Vol Nation, the answer is a resounding NO!! It is official (see David Climer retiring from The Tennessean); Climer's last column will be published on October 30th. For any Tennessee fans who might like to give him a parting shot, the Tennessean will host a public reception for the home-grown Sultan of Sarcasm on Thursday, Oct. 29, from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at 1100 Broadway.

For any of our GIF specialists, could you strike up the "Hallelujah" chorus line from Handel's Messiah?
