I'm with you. I said 8 wins all along (except for the week between the Arkansas and UGA games when I thought we were complete toast). I'm a little surprised at the number of posters on here who seem convinced we're going to win today. I look at Bama and I see a team that, top to bottom, is deeper, more experienced, and more talented than us, and, to top it all off, we have to play them on the road. Frankly, I'll be shocked if we win today.

This.

They act as if Bama didn't lose to an Ole Miss team that doesn't even have a running game.

Chad Kelly may throw better than Dobbs but I don't think he's a better QB at all.

Arky beat them for 3 quarters until Bielema choked. Our team dominated Arky early in an off game.

That young front seven of ours dominated the UGA running game the second half. Sony Michel(a very talented player) had 9 rushes for 21 in the second half. KMack is progressing into a force and changing this defense. Barnett was crushing the tackle again.

Bama scored only 20 points on offense last week. This is hilarious with how this board is believing the hype.

My concern is the stupid SEC refs will continue to not call all the holding that Bama will do.

Amazing that Hurd and Dobbs stay healthy and literally have double the touches of the combined team. And our nonexistent receiver corp is a MASH unit.

I have a bad feeling about a game for the first time this year.

I think we struggle to run against that front 7. I would love to be very, very wrong.

No matter what anyone posts on here, no one knows exactly what will happen.

I'm optimistic solely based on our playmakers.

But anything can happen. Turnovers can crush any hope we have.

Same with Bama. They very well could implode. I'm not sold on the QB.

Quit taking every post as some kind of sworn statement. And for the love of all things orange, quit acting like we have zero chance.

Go Vols

Jennings made the trip.

Boom. So Jennings, Malone, Pearson, Smith and possibly North. I'll take it. What Malone has lacked up until last week in making plays, he's made up for it with durability. Time to be the man. Maybe he will make me very happy and take a long one to the house today.

There's nothing wrong with people hoping that we will win (I certainly hope we do). However, to expect us to win today is mind boggling.

I haven't read anyone expect us to win.

A prediction is a guess/hope

Not one sane person picked this as a guaranteed win preseason.

Smith has been our best receiver this year. I like that rotation.

Alright, I understand your post. However, there have been a few, especially on the FF, that said they expect us to beat Alabama.

Good Grief that's idiotic. No one can expect any win other than a select few games remaining on our schedule.

I will stay in this forum with the rational folks.

Hurd is going to absolutely destroy someone today both running and blocking.

Our wideouts are going to head hunt fools also.

Bama will over pursue and we will mis direction them to death.

I want to win, but what I want most is to have an injury-free game. There would be nothing worse than to lose more playmakers with five games left in the season. We need to protect Dobbs, Hurd, Kamara, Sutton, Wolf and TKjr to finish 8-4.

I hate Bama-- hate them with the venom of a thousand cobras.

If we create no turnovers today, there is a chance. A lot of media focus this week on Dobbs with only two interceptions this year. Always seems to backfire and then a lot of INT's happen. Same thing happened to Aaron Rodgers this year. No interceptions at Green Bay for a few years, media hyped it up, then throws two I think in a game at Green Bay. Dobbs and WR's have to be on point today. AL has been capitalizing big time on INT's lately. No turnovers, force Coker to throw, we're in it. AL's running game is the biggest threat, which I believe will wear us down in the 4th like Arky did. AL is the deeper team, but no turnovers by us will keep it close.

My dads side of the family is all from Alabama & diehard Alabama fans.

For that, I apologize. I feel I need to rid myself of this filthiness.
