Why would Jancek or Martinez take a step down to go to Miami? I know they are boys with Richt, but are they also not friends with Butch?

It's not anything I would claim as my own. I was told by him about the "strained" relationships between the wr and Azzani before some of that came out here. He's not the most beloved coach on the team.

I just think what jobs these coaches pursue will tell us a lot


If cZa is the new OC at Maryland that is a step up and won't tell us anything about if he was pushed out or not. Going with CMR will either tell us they were pushed out or prefer working for an easier HC to work for

Bruin just thinking out loud here- it just seems like if Butch wanted Jancek to move on (if that's even what is happening), wouldn't he have had an option already in place? Butch seems like such a planner I can't see him conducting a search for such an important position like this right now. And it's not like Jancek has done a bad job either. Wonder how the players will respond if there is a change?

I am sure butch has a plan for everything

I just think this staff has been loyal and busted it's ass so cbj out of professional courtesy will allow time for them to be find other jobs instead of being let go

He really hurt himself with some things at TB. Some pretty bad stuff in that locker room. He gets interviews because he was great at Rutgers but people aren't going to pull the trigger on him with better choices available. Heck I think Rutgers should bring him back
