Why don't you explain it to me?

Scrambling-to collect or organize (things) in a hurried or disorderly manner (often followed by together or up)

In recruiting this would be a situation where you either are near signing day and you are just trying to collect bodies, or where you have had a coaching change and lost most of your class due to it.. So again, your post and our situation does not define "scrambling" in our case. Those losses/potential losses are all well known.

This along with your take on the talent level at UGA are both incorrect.

Only the timing is a surprise. QD probably feels he has a better shot to play elsewhere. The QB recruit that we've cooled on was always questionable. He's not having a great SR year. Better we part ways now so he can reopen his recruitment and find a school where he's a better fit.

From the video I've watched, he does have a cannon of an arm. I don't know about his speed. People have said he's fast, but not as fast as S Jones.

I don't know his numbers exactly, but I know he broke records at the under armour camp for quarterbacks

All you are talking about is mitigating the variables in recruiting and roster building. Having a plan and executing the plan. You are satisfied with how it's going. I am saying the quality of the execution is not even up to replacing what already is not winning the SEC or a NC, much less getting to the elite level.

They are getting told "no thanks" by many elite players they are offering. I sincerely hope that changes in the coming months because they are losing some really great players off the current roster. They have a plan to mitigate it. If the plan doesn't work they do what exactly? There will be more because there are zero guarantees injured players will recover sufficiently to achieve their current levels of performance, much less higher levels that were expected. When you offer an unranked baseball commit from Alabama a QB slot - that's scrambling. There will be more. Use another word if it makes you feel better.

Would bet all the $ in Texas that butch jones says that writing looks like smeared spray paint written in a foreign language up until the day of the opener next year in ATL.

Butch already says that kind of stuff on a weekly basis but you are intelligent enough and can read between the lines, no?

Sure he's not going to tip his hand and let a QB leave but look at the lousy offensive system. Who is it better suited for?

When did we have a bunch of 5* players under Dooley?

Rogers... Hunter... CP.... and was that it? Was Richardson a 5 star? That entire line played in the NFL basically, so there had to be one five star there.
