Qd transfer would be bad news.
One hit to Jarrett, and its next man up.
4 years ago, we got down to the 4th string QB for Bama. You ready to roll with whoever is AFTER CJ Lewis?
Just for recruiting sakes I think we hire s splash OC
Unfortunately, Butch won't do that. He had the opportunity 2 years ago to go out and get a marquis OC and hired Debord. I think Gillespie will be our OC after this year, and he may end up being great, but we don't know. The thing is this is Butch's offense, so I don't think we will see a ton of difference no matter who we have calling plays.
The thing I've observed this season is that this offense looks great (close to 700 yards on TAMU and 600 on Florida) when we have a reasonably healthy OL and not so great when we don't.
And he looks bad.... IMO
Why is college football the only sport for which significant injuries to multiple key players is not an acceptable answer for poor performance?
If, for example, the Braves had lost Smoltz, Glavine and Maddux to injuries at the same time in the 1990s and had missed the playoffs, people would say that was understandable. Tennessee loses 10+ key guys for the Bama game and we lose big and everyone now says we need to fire all our coaches and others say we've been completely exposed as an overrated fraud.
Makes no sense.
