Where was that post detailing bamas holding penalties over the past couple years? In the last thread?

http://www.volnation.com/forum/showpost.php?p=13137562&postcount=521

I am going to issue a disclaimer on this. I found it posted on an Auburn site this past December. Most of us simply don't have the time to do this research. But here it is:

This was compiled by Stat on TOS. Very Interesting.....

From 2007-2015:

9 years
121 games
8114 offensive snaps

55 holding penalties
37 holding penalties against OL or 1 every 3.3 games.

OL is flagged for holding every 219 snaps.

Alabama had zero holding penalties during 65% of their games.

Only 2 times during 121 games was Alabama flagged for holding while trailing on the scoreboard.

During 78 conference games, their OL was flagged for holding 19 times (1 every 4.1 gms).
During their remaining 43 games, 18 times (1 every 2.4 gms).

Interesting Breakdown:

9 games vs. Auburn ................. 2 holding penalties against OL.
6 games vs. Florida .................. 1
4 games vs. Georgia ................ 0
10 games vs. LSU .................... 3
9 games vs. Tennessee ............ 1
9 games vs. Ole Miss ............... 2

9 games vs. Arkansas .............. 6

This is ridiculous. Bama had built this up over many many years. Further I'd argue that if Bama literally lost every single one of its starting OL, two of its top DL, it's top four linebackers and a chunk of its secondary, it would look nothing like the team that whipped us Saturday. They'd be in full blown panic mode.

It is simply ridiculous to say because we lost all those players and couldn't immediately replace them that somehow our coaches are failing. I'm sorry.

For every Bama fan talking trash to me about Saturday I just said you looked like world beaters against our scout teams. Great job!
The issue is not that our third string couldn't stand toe to toe with Bama, the issue is that we are getting out recruited by at least three teams that we have to play every year. Some years that is just going to happen, particularly when TN instate talent is down. This is not one of those years. We should be killing it. I don't understand why the 2017 class isn't better.

He came in and played after that late hit out of bounds cheap shot that wasn't called.

It was called. You're a good poster man, and I agree that refs skew toward Alabama, but you harp on the refs literally every single play it seems lol

Hubbs said he thinks Dk will play vs scar. He said his ankle did not respond well Wednesday but Saturday he was running much better.

Also Hubbs said Kamara had four runs and one catch after that hit. Seems unlikely that he would have a torn acl.

The shadow man has returned with a vengeance for injuries apparently. This is unreal. Of all the running backs to be injured of course it would be our best. Praying it's not as bad as appears, but 34 and LWS are both saying it's bad. It's just surprising that he came back in and played some if it was torn.

Exactly my sentiments. Fans tend to get mostly emotional, not logical, after a beat down regardless of reason.

Partial tears can be undetected for a while

He could have torn it, tried to play through it, then shut it down when he admitted to himself something was off

With all these injuries on top of injuries, I wouldn't be surprised to see us drop 2 more. Read we're the most injured team in the SEC since Florida in 2013, and they finished 4-8.

Witchcraft Voodoo........................... this should set some NCAA record in college football with the tally of who's been injured... Kelly gon have to ball, which he can. Hopefully Kamara will be Okay!

And/or made it worse by continuing to play.

He had the TD run after the late hit and he looked explosive and had very good balance.

So it could be anything

Also, you literally couldn't have "paid" me to come back and play another season if I was JRM, AK or Cam.
I said this before they announced they were staying.
The faster you can get to your 2nd contract the better.

I think JRM could have helped himself the most by coming back. But, I agree in general.

It's about time you need a new avatar bro. Should swap out that Pig Howard for Tyler Byrd.

Kamara needed to show some more as well. He needed that A&M game, and he got it. Hopefully, he can still go for a few more games and raise his profile.

Off subject, I'm going to enjoy two beautiful nights of sleep on the next two Saturdays. 4 straight 2:30 AM games have been murder. 6:15 am kick off for SC is jusssstttt nice.
