No he isn't. Butch is the better overall Head Coach (that's not saying much)regardless of the 0-3 record head to head. all 3 games have come down to muschamp knows how to stop a Butch jones offense it silly turnovers. Butch just has to make one OC hire to change it up and he would beat muschamp.

That would solve a lot of problems but we all know how this is going to play out.

I don't like it anymore than you do but, Muschamp has OWNED Butch everytime.

Ok I agree but he has to actually prove he's willing to do that. So far he's been loyal and stubborn to a fault IYAM

Or he could trend down considering the stars of the defense will be gone and it could take JG a couple of years to be dynamic, if ever. (Just realistically speaking).

It could go either way.

He has not. He gambled on Dobbs having a horrible game, and won. If dynamic Dobbs had shown up...Muschamp gets his ass handed to him and this stupid narrative doesn't take place. If you want to call Butch "outcoached" because he refused to bench Dobbs when the season was on the line..go for it. I don't think he got outcoached. He was just stuck to his hand and got beat. Dobbs lost that game single handedly. Butch should have benched him early in the third. Anybody that has ever watched him play, knew he wasn't turning it around that night.

That play is easy to stop. It's based on timing and all you have to do is not snap the ball and take a delay of game. The guy will most likely jump off sides before the clock runs down. Just do it one time and his timing will be messed up.

PR and KR require different skillsets though. PR guys need a bit more lateral agility and KR guys need better straight line speed.

Callaway looked good on PR, but his top end speed didn't look as good as some of our other options for KR IMO.

I wouldn't say superior those last 2 Florida matchups but we lost because it was Florida not because of who was coaching them

Well now, you have hit on a technical issue that had it been discussed on here before the season started would have either caused blank stares or gnashing of teeth by the masses.

The sturdier ones they have gone to provide better ankle support and also restrict lateral movement more. Going against less talented teams coming up, so it should not matter. Probably something they take a closer look at over the off season.

This is why I don't get how people seriously try to call Shoop out. How bad would we be without a guy that can do more with less? Not too mention Butch didn't even let him bring any of his own guys to teach his system. Luckily it's rumored that will change this offseason. Shoop needs at least one of his guys that knows his system on the D staff

Not grading it. I get it, the injuries have been bad, and I'm not blaming anyone for a scotch tape and bubble gum defense.

But the guy made a point that with a healthy defense, Butch may not have peaked. My point is that if you switch DKJR for Barnett, this year's defense is what you will have next year, and I don't think it has the pieces to be elite.
