What Hurd has going for him is that he excels in the 3 main facets of the game you look for RB:

1. Obviously running the ball
2. Receiving out of the backfield
3. Blocking in pass protection

I challenge anyone to tell me a back that is better at #3, there are very few better at 2, and he is right there with the big boys at 1. Hurd is going to be as complete a back as there is in this class.

He's the best at #3 in the country.

I'd agree with 3. I'd say he is no. 2 on his team at receiving out of the backfield(Kamara is elite in that aspect, though) and he is a tough a back to bring down as I can remember...

Still think he lacks a bit of burst and acceleration to go real high. Jmo

Hurd is a great back, but so is Fournette, Chubb, and Cook. I'm thinking Hurd could be a mid to late 1st rounder. If Hurd was a step or 2 quicker, he'd probably be the top back off the board.

Cat's position is an extremely popular position in this fanbase and on this board...so why is everyone killing the guy over saying something a lot of us have said? Because it's Catbone? Come on.

Because people are tired of his negative bs schtick. People get tired of someone who is ALWAYS negative. I personally think he's a troll and a clown. JMO

I give Catbone a hard time too when he just ****posts about negative stuff...but this is a well known stance on here. Something a lot of us have said. God knows I have.

Catbone just says what he thinks instead of trying for the most 'likes' like one particular poster or posters on here. Catbone says what a lot think one time or another, he just has the cojones to say it. Haha

I really don't care what y'all think. I've heard tons of posters sat CZA is not a very good coach and so have all of you. But since it's Catbone saying it, y'all bash me. LOL carry on VN. You're not going to run me off.

I think he'll be a 2nd rounder and a realm good pro.

Fournette would worry me as he has several runs where makes no one miss and gets to the 2nd level almost untouched. Not his fault, but Hurd has a lot more experience at making people miss and breaking tackles
