I think the No.3 RB on the team is an elite RB and will prove it as soon as the top 2 guys leave.

Hope so. I don't have an eye for that kind of thing, so I'll ha e to take your word for it. It'd be hard to be better than Hurd though, he does every single thing so well.

Kelly has an it factor and will be popping big runs for us a lot. You'll see soon enough. 😁

Heard about S Jones looking good this spring before this hopefully minor injury he had, but what about Dormady?

There was an article the other day with him talking about how much more comfortable he felt in the the offense this Spring. I think Debord said some nice things about him in the article.

Normal spring ball fluff

Didn't GFW hint around the time Jones came back from Colorado that Dormady would be leaving or am I mistaken?

It was a rumor based on poor info I should not have spread. I apologize. Obviously looking like he'll stay a Vol for his next few years which is something I am excited about.

That's good to hear. I wasn't trying to call you out I just thought I remembered that mentioned and never heard anything else about it. Thanks for clarifying.

I like Muschamp DBs more than Saban guys. Isn't Earl Thomas a Muschamp DB? The No Fly Zone CBs at Florida under Muschamp were hell. The Freshman Davis at Auburn is going to be good too. Champ is 1-3 for me easily.

Ok, maybe it was BB and not HG. You guys fight so much about defensive backs that I'm getting crossed up.

Anyway, Muschamp and Saban are maniacs with backs.

Man, I'm excited about this season.

Once again, I look at the bowl game for what to expect in 2016. Iowa and NU were both outmatched by the time we played them, but both games offered a glimpse of things to come.

It was clear in the TaxSlayer Bowl that the team had found its identity on both offense and defense. That led to a 9-4 campaign that was nearly an 11-1 season.

Then, with a month to rest and prepare after a solid regular season, the Vols beat 10-win NU like they were an FCS team. We also got a glimpse of a power run game and a team that struggled a bit early in the game but then turned on the jets after the second half and steamrolled the Wildcats by making play after play on both offense and defense.

My biggest realistic wish for 2016 are wins against any of UF/UGA/A&M/Bama where the Vols flat out own the line of scrimmage, run the ball at will, and slowly make the opposing team quit. Come from behind dramatic victories are fun, but I want to see us demoralize good teams in the trenches with a juggernaut rushing attack that simply can't be stopped.
