With Croom at TE where he's always belonged. Shoot. We are so stacked. Where is the weakness?
Dobbs downfield passing? Haha. I mean yeah it's not elite. But we're talking about a grizzled veteran senior QB who also happens to be one of the best running QB's in the nation. He has proven he can also make some throws. If the wide receivers come to play, Dobbs will come through. He's just not a player I'm super worried about. I'll tell you who is worried about him though... Opposing DC's.
But who knows how much we'll even need to throw deep. We've got elite RB's coming out of our ears too.
This season is gonna be awesome
Only key injuries can ruin this season. Cue some epic GIFs from the 80's... Just b'cuz
This team is stacked. Injuries are always a concern.
I'll be looking to see if the offense can convert on those 3rd and long passing downs
Also, defense needs to get 3rd and 4th down stops. Hurt us against OU and UF last year.
Red zone TD's are crucial. Medley's inconsistency last year scares me.
I can't get over how good the 2015 class is. Seriously. Look at it. LOOK AT IT.
Tennessee 2015 Football Commits
Not to get all D4H here, but he's right. There are legitimately 15+ draftable players in that class.
Everyone in that class who is still on campus and not injured shows up in weekly practice reports except Miller and Lovingood, and both of those guys will play roles on the team in the future.
It's just stunning to have 90%+ of a class capable of doing something noteworthy during practice to the point where the VQ/RTI/247 guys write about them at least once a week. Even the guys who haven't fully cracked the depth chart yet.

They always say big Charles and Kahlil need to get in better shape. Those guys are huge. That's part of their strengths. Not everybody is gonna look like Croom (black Captain America).

DT development and depth are crucial, because so many of those failures came late in the game where we couldn't collapse the pocket, despite getting pressure on the edge. Great secondary coverage can only last so long, especially when opposing offenses are in desperation mode and more willing to sling it into traffic and let their guys go up and get the ball. Need Tuttle back badly.
2-3 years from now Tennessee offers will be regularly receiving the "Bama bump". Hell some of them already do
