Depending on how many holes the roster still has and the draft order in 2017, the Titans could potentially trade down again next year to any team that's desperate for Watson/Kaaya/any other top QB and still have a high first-round pick.

Or if the feel like they are a piece away, the can trade up for a high caliber skill player or defensive stud.

So much flexibility

You forgot to put Dobbs in there.

Jon Robinson has been the offseason pickup of the year. Everything the guy has done so far is rock solid!

Totally agree. Learned from the best at NE. Amy is becoming a rock star! Lol.

There are not enough superlatives for what this means for long suffering Ttans fans.

This would be a classic NE move. Highly likely move IMO.

I mean it's possible but the scheduling is absolutely brutal. We'll see

I agree that it won't be easy. Got Florida and Bama at home but concerned about Georgia in Athens and is the one game we really need to win for many reasons.

But, it is fun that we can walk onto the field each game and know for the first time in forever we can compete.

Improvement big time for you to think it's possible. :)

That should tell us it's going to be a great year.

This is fun.

Not to derail the thread any more, however, my experiences were more like InVOL's on the Puleo/Louis food. Will go back and try Puleo's lasagna - thanks for the post, nick. A family member of Louis worked for me at one time and she would have them cater the lasagna in for lunch for all of us occasionally. So good! Quality lasagna makes life worth living. :)

My wife has a lasagna dish that is from my sister who got it from Chicago friends. It is to die for and I can't even get it out anymore. People beg her for it but it takes a long time to make. I thank God even more when I get a chance to partake. :pepper:

That Titans trade is crazy good. Especially with the Rams and Titans both likely to be bad again this year or at most marginally better.

This years draft is weak as far as super star players but strong on really good players. Next years class is LOADED with studs.

Amazing trade.

Indeed. We now have a plethora of good picks in a year where there is also a plethora of really good players. I also believe we have a plethora of piñata's.

I've seen many people say this but I am ignorant. What kind of players will be in the draft next year?

Cam Sutton, Derek Barnett, JRM, Kamara, Jalen Hurd, and that's only on our team. Desean Watson, Christian Mccaffrey, Leonard Fournette, Nick Chubb, the list goes on and on and on.

Draft analyst on The Zone just said that he thinks the Titans target Alexander or Treadwell for the first pick. He mentioned a third player but didn't catch the name.

CBS analysts think they'll take the OT from Michigan State. Jack Conklin.

NFL Mock Drafts - CBSSports.com - NFLDraftScout.com

Nobody knows. I'm sure the situation will be very fluid and depend on who comes off the board. If Hargeaves was still available, I don't see how you could pass on him.

Yep, that was the third name he mentioned. I think Alexander should be the guy as weak as the secondary is right now.

It appears the NFL is the clear benefactor with this trade as

a) their "new" LA Rams just obtained the 1st pick in the draft driving market interest
b) discussion over a 1st pick QB is more captivating to the public than any left tackle
c) captures instant sports news buildup in the NFL schedule release tonight following the biggest night of the year for the NBA
d) Titan fans have a reason to be optimistic in spite of having a head coach with a 18-39 record.
