I agree..our down field passing will dictate if we are good or great. If Dobbs can't stretch the field and loosen up defense's then we aren't going to beat the better teams on our schedule. That is the one thing that will dictate how lethal our offense will be. Well that and Dobbs not turning the ball over with fumbles and int's.

Cost us a chance at a NC? For 30 years we scream for a running quarterback now people complain about not being able to stretch the field. There are very very few perfect QB's out there. I'm very happy with what Dobbs gives us.

How about just throw it in the middle of the field with accuracy? That would help a lot.

Sorry, do not expect perfect; but you cannot be one dimensional and expect to win it all.

Not sure I agree. Yes, in today's age, a journalist's work is starting to blend between print and audio/video. But Brent did not go to the school to be a journalist. In fact, he started a website, which doesn't require a journalism degree. He started the site because he was in a position to receive and relay information. You may disagree, but I do not hold it against him that he wasn't trained to be a journalist. He isn't asked to write a piece for a paper or anything like that. He reports on his site and does interviews.

Dobbs was 5th in the SEC in passing with very average receivers due to suspensions and injuries. He is not one dimensional. No he is not great at throwing deep but that didn't cost us a chance at a NC. How about OL, Colton Jumper starting early, kicker, speed on the backend of the defense, reveivers, coaching?

Lol makes no sense. What was the reason? Did we have a better option? The starting QB's for the teams you listed were all horrible. Of course they used more than one QB. Just don't get your point.

Beyond what? No doubt Dobbs has not been great beyond 10-15 yards but that didn't cost us a chance at a NC imo. Turn it around without Dobbs running ability we go 6-6.

No. 4th quarter collapses by the defense against Oklahoma and Florida cost us a chance at a national title. As well as poor coaching decisions.
