Man I remember talking to Lane and Monte Kiffin and they were so enamored with Morley, Berry, Vinson, and Rogan. Then the morning of a scrimmage Morley had been awol for a few days. Monte told Lane we need this kid he is so special. Well the next week Morley shows up after not showing up to practice. Morley's excuse to Willie Mack and Lane was his girl had a Dr appt because she was pregnant. Lane dismisses him and Monte almost cried. Then next was Vinson being kicked off because he was a serial bonehead, but I loved that kid. I still communicate with him from time to time now. So hey had Berry and Rogan left but both of those 2 balled out.

Where were you in 1996-99 because those squads were loaded and ranked #1 in the nation at least 3x in that time frame.

Like I said, I wasnt hating on Dobbs for that, but its not hard to be 5th whenever theres like 8 teams who didnt have a steady starter. Dobbs finished ahead of Grier/Harris. Why? Because Grier/Harris didnt play the whole season. Same with Mauk/Lock etc.
If you look at the top 10 (just the top 10) in the SEC last year, Dobbs ranked 9th in YPA, and 9th in QBR. He just had more attempts and completions than most of the SEC because he was a full time starter. Out of full time starters he ranked 5th out of 5 or 6 (not sure about Brandon Harris). I like Dobbs, but using the 5th in SEC in passing doesnt seem valid when every QB got hurt or split time.

There's usually not a lot of errors made in their articles. It's usually in the message board posts and replies. Typos and left out words are the most common mistakes. That's gonna happen when you post as much as they do.

They don't have an editor who proofreads everything for them and really they shouldn't for message board posting.
