Where the heck do you live and when did you experience red tide here?

Yeah, never heard of anyone having trouble breathing that bad. Unless he already has some serious respiratory issues, it won't really effect you.

That said, east coast > west coast (except for siesta key IMO)

I'd do the same thing. We have enough having to play Bama every year. UGA are p***** though

There is truly no advantage to having a difficult OOC schedule in the SEC. The conference lineup alone guarantees a playoff appearance if a teams win in ATL and isn't 9-3 or something heading into that game.

Absolutely 100% agree.

Any specific recommendations?

How isolated do you like to be? What activities do you like?

Fiji is nice but the beaches are a little rough (ground coral). Beautiful though. Cebu in the Philippines has great snorkling and scuba diving. Naha (Okinawa) has great diving too. A lot of underwater historical sites and it beautiful. Guam is beautiful as well. I still have yet to hit Tahiti, Tonga, and a few more of the more remote places.

You're crazy. I can't breathe there parts of the year because of red tide.

This is a load of horsecrap. Ref tide is a random occurrence. I lived in T Bay for 10 years and never encountered it once. We went to the beach all the dang time, and frequented every beach from Honeymoon island to fort DeSoto. You may have had a bad experience, but it is a fluke. If the stretch of beach you are going to that day has a red tide warning posted, just drive a few miles down Gulf Blvd to another one. It never affects a very big stretch of beach. Have a nice day.

West coast > East coast..unless you are just a young horndog. The beaches are way more beautiful, and the sunsets are awesome. We went to walk the beach at least twice a week at sundown. I never got tired of it....I miss it badly. I wish I could live half the year in the mountains, and half in Tampa Bay.

I'm not a young horndog and prefer the east coast. Jupiter/WPB is more enjoyable than anything I've been to on the west.

I'm also a diver so that has something to do with it as well.

I like the waves of the Atlantic. Other than that the beaches/water are beautiful on the west coast. Different strokes for different folks. I love the crashing waves.

West coast of Florida is dominant to east coast man. Not even close. Not a beach on east coast that can compete with Siesta, St. Pete or Clearwater.

I never watched the final two season's of Park and Rec and its marathoning on TV and I just finished the sixth season and I think about about to get emotional. Why isn't this real life and why must it end?

I was the same way at the end of The Office. I was in mourning for like a week, didn't know what to do with my life.
