Recruiting Forum Football Talk XXV

The diving is better way down south. I really wasn't thinking about that far southeast coast. I've always considered that a separate area. I was thinking more along the middle to north east coast. I love from Miami through the keys. But I still love Tampa Bay better. :) I really q like the middle to northeast beach towns.

I'm in west palm as well. I love st Pete, and I was on gasparilla island this weekend, but I do prefer south Florida.

There's no one I'd rather beat this year than Florida because of the streak, but there is no one I'd rather humiliate on the field more than UGA because of recruiting.

Nice post... But a bit off, IMO

I'd rather humiliate Clemson, in the playoffs, and this needs no explanation

The crashing waves suck when you have three small children. And that all depends on the winds anyway. That's what makes the waves. The west coast gets big waves too with strong westerlys. But on average the seabreeze off the Atlantic are stronger so you do get bigger eaves more often.

To each his own. I've raised two children going to the east coast. They love it. The average waves on the east coast trump about anything on the west that I've experienced. That's why God made different terrains and landscapes - so people can enjoy what they like. I like the east coast better.

The first 4 or 5 seasons of The Office are amazing.

"Dinner Party" is probably my favorite episode of any TV show ever.

It starts to decline in quality bit later in the series, then it nosedives after Steve Carrell leaves. Still worth watching, though.
The Office is one of my all time favorite shows.

All this east/west coast FL ocean talk reminds me of why I love the low country of SC so much better. Instead of sunsets over a docile gulf, we enjoy the sunsets over the marsh and intracoastal. Sunrises over the Atlantic are spectacular and the waves at the low country beaches are generally low to moderate. FL panhandle type cooler weather in the winter though. A big plus - not setting foot in Gator territory.

Amen, I pinch myself every morning when I am driving to work and am looking out over the Harbor/Ocean/Marsh/Intra Coasta/Cooper,Ashley and Wando rivers.

So beautiful here!

Shhhhh! I guess we both messed up by posting it. You truly are blessed to be there full time. We spend 2-3 months a year there and it is never enough.

So my SEC football buddy is moving and he is collecting license plates from everybody from all the states they are from. I have an old TN license plate that I am going to give him but he wants them personalized. He is an Arkansas fan and I need something really good and degrading to put on there for him. So I turn to the most sarcastic and witty group of morans I am aware of for your thoughts. I want it to be really good so when he is looking at this 30 years from now he can still fell the burn!

Eric, I heard that your neighbors moved.

We vacation there almost every year as my in-laws have a place on the IOP. Always a fun trip.

Is it bad that I still haven't completely gotten over someone that I haven't dated in over a year?

I'm an outgoing, funny, and-- according to most-- at least somewhat attractive guy, but I can't bring myself to get back out in the dating game.

I went through it about ten years ago. I was pretty down for 2-3 months. I understand what you've dealt with.

What got me out of the rut was "associating" with as many attractive women that I would never consider dating. Catch my drift? Soon enough she'll be a distant memory.

Sorry if that sounded douchey but that's what worked for me. Hang in there.

How about one of the national championship license plates with THXSTRNR

We moved a couple miles into a different neighborhood as well in late Feb, but went to their little ones birthday party a couple weeks ago so we are still staying in touch!

Hit me up if you ever visit them again!
