Grad transfers with two years of eligibility could get lots of PT in 2017.
Any JUCO possibilities?
With 81 scholly players currently, and with only 12 seniors leaving, it's really not that much of a risk to bring in a grad transfer that may only have 1 year remaining. That grad transfer becomes insurance in case of injury this season. Plus, in terms of playing time, most grad transfers are changing places for a reason - they weren't getting any playing time where they were at. At least being here, they have a chance to be a part of a special team.
2. It's entirely possible neither of these guys is a grad transfer. Possible one is a JUCO that could maybe fall into Joe Young's scholarship and the other one is a true freshman/blueshirt candidate.
3. What would be the reaction here if a guy like Treyvon Paulk came back to UT after his stint in JUCO?

VN just can't handle the truth
That post was in reference to line in a few good menSeriously Bruin!? You know I don't typically have a beef with things you post but you can't come on here postulating that Butch cut a kid loose that had signed a loi just to make room for 2 grad transfer running backs that have just 1 year of eligibility. Not only is that a reach with you having no evidence of such... It's just not even a smart thing for Butch to do. We need recievers more than running backs. We would not swap a one year guy for a four year guy either. Your position on this one really had no merit or reason.
Oh... I thought you were referring to most of us that don't buy into the idea that Butch just cut the reciever loose to make room on the roster.
My bad
