That's what you get for assuming. GFW offered 0 info about years of eligibility left for the 2 RBs. They could easily be a true FR and a 3 to play 3 JUCO.

Well the discussion here for a few weeks has been about a grad transfer RB perhaps that changed. I hope so anyway

Skai Moore having surgery and out for the season-- in case anybody was concerned about the New Ball Coach resurrecting SCAR.

Grad transfers with two years of eligibility could get lots of PT in 2017.

Any JUCO possibilities?

1. With 81 scholly players currently, and with only 12 seniors leaving, it's really not that much of a risk to bring in a grad transfer that may only have 1 year remaining. That grad transfer becomes insurance in case of injury this season. Plus, in terms of playing time, most grad transfers are changing places for a reason - they weren't getting any playing time where they were at. At least being here, they have a chance to be a part of a special team.

2. It's entirely possible neither of these guys is a grad transfer. Possible one is a JUCO that could maybe fall into Joe Young's scholarship and the other one is a true freshman/blueshirt candidate.

3. What would be the reaction here if a guy like Treyvon Paulk came back to UT after his stint in JUCO?

3. No way with the climate around UT and the Title IX case.

Nooo. Paulk hit a girl in front of witnesses. We're done with him.

I was surprised we didn't bring in another RB this class, so adding at least one more makes sense. Guess Evan Berry isn't going to get any time there.

Andy Staples defending UT right now. Saying in no way compares to Baylor.

Next breath said folks may get fired namely... Dave Hart

VN just can't handle the truth

Seriously Bruin!? You know I don't typically have a beef with things you post but you can't come on here postulating that Butch cut a kid loose that had signed a loi just to make room for 2 grad transfer running backs that have just 1 year of eligibility. Not only is that a reach with you having no evidence of such... It's just not even a smart thing for Butch to do. We need recievers more than running backs. We would not swap a one year guy for a four year guy either. Your position on this one really had no merit or reason.

Not a huge hart fan but we don't need anyone to being fired. We need everyone standing strong without any guilt or even a perception of it

Oh... I thought you were referring to most of us that don't buy into the idea that Butch just cut the reciever loose to make room on the roster.

My bad:)

Not at all.

I certainly don't know the truth on that

I do know that I am not getting the 81 like the others posters but I don't have the breakdown of it either
