Reading some quotes from Henderson on the other site I think it's safe to say he has some issues. He now is saying his isn't going to OU, it isn't grades, and he is going to juco. Looks like VQ was on it all along

He is saying he will tell his story publicly later.

At this point it goes into the who cares department for me. Hope it works out for the kids sake.

Stocstill got a scholarship for last year. If one is still available after everyone arrives and the roster settles, then he'd probably be the next in line to get one (IMO). The only walk-on I have for sure penciled in with a scholarship is Daniel.

Yes, there is an appeal pending. Texts and social media messages between the accuser and AJ Johnson are expected to be favorable to the defense, supporting AJ's claim of consensual sex. Deleted Facebook posts from the accuser's friends' accounts are also expected to be favorable to the defense, establishing an ongoing flirtatious relationship and the intent of the accuser.

The social media sites are willing to give dates and person sending the message. But are refusing to give the text of the messages. I understand the privacy issues, but this is a serious criminal case. Strange.

Good. Maybe you can apologize to everyone here, VQ, Butch, etc for all of your ridiculous speculation that we cut him loose last minute, in order to make room for a grad transfer RB.

It's amazing to me how bad these sportswriters are. This line:
"Bowles' claims are yet to be refuted (he has given conflicting interviews, but the only statement that matters, right now, is the one he gave under the threat of perjury), the Title IX lawsuit is still pending, and Jones' job is still on the line."

How exactly would this be 'refuted'? Presumably, the only other person privy to their conversation was Jones and he's said Bowles is lying. Bowles has contradicted himself as the writer admits in other interviews. Short of their being a tape or a 3rd witness how could Bowles' comments ever be refuted to his satisfaction?

Then there's this doozy:
"The circumstances alleged against Tennessee are frighteningly similar to those at Baylor, where coach Art Briles was dismissed and athletic director Ian McCaw resigned following an independent review of the school's culture and institutional response toward sexual assault."

How are the circumstances similar? If you're going to throw out a bombshell like that maybe you should back it up with some actual parallels but instead he just talks about Briles being similarly tone deaf. Nothing comparing the accusations that he just said are very similar.

On that foxnews story isn't the Bowles story that he claimed CBJ called him a traitor... but then called Bowles back a few hours later and apologized?

Even if you believe the first part, I think the second part is notable and should be referenced in every story about those events. If true the first part is indefensible - but the second part shows CBJ realized his error and quickly corrected it.

These writers like to cherry pick facts that fit their narrative. I knew this Baylor thing would drag us back into the news.

When does UT file its response? Won't the university clear the air with respect to their side on all these allegations?

Still, I bet it's all just a massive cover up. VQ knows the truth...Butch just lit that LOI on fire right in front of Henderson and his family and then told him "you'll never play for Tennessee..."

That sounds more plausible to me.

I'm glad the Henderson situation finally has Bruin's blessing. We can now all rest assured that there has been no wrongdoing and that it's ok to call yourself a Vol fan and sleep at night.

Outside of VN, all I'm hearing is people begging Verne not to leave. What is wrong with people? He hasn't been good at his profession in about a decade. Just because he has a likable personality we should put up with his inability to call a game? "He's likey uncle I live hearing him every Saturday."
