First time going? We are taking my daughter out of school on Thursday and Friday to go.

It is our second. We went last spring and as soon as we got back my wife started planning this trip. It is absolutely incredible and I had a blast last time.

I turn into a huge kid as soon as I get off the monorail. I don't care if that makes me uncool. I love being able to just be a young again for a little while. I cannot wait till I have grandkids to take...I hope you and your family have a great time.

I never visited Disney until I was in my 30's. The first time I went, we had no kids, and it was awesome. I have been two other times since then with my kids and once to Universal Studios, and they were even awesomer. It is truly a fantastic place for a family vacation.

Lol!! You sound like us...except we got back and decided to become DVC members. It was a long process, but we are greatful we could do it. It's awesome to know we will get to go to Disney every year or even multiple times for a long, long time. When my daughter gets a little older, we will start going to some of the other Disney resorts around the country.

At some point while they are pre-teen, you do the land/sea deal. We did 4 days at Disney and the 3 day cruise. Stayed inside the park. One of the highlights our family's lives. That way you get both and it is all Disney 24/7.

Actually St. Thomas has one of the best beaches in the world, Megan's Bay, and many very good restaurants. As of this year, they also have a craft brewery. Their IPA is awesome.

You're right, I forgot about Magen's Bay. Absolutely beautiful too.

Renting a house is your best option. Not cheap, but worth it. Island real estate has most of the houses.

I love Tampa bay. I pretty much despise the east coast. The Tampa bay area offers everything. And the Pinellas and Manatee county beaches are among the best in the world. They are not much farther, and much better than anything comparable time wise on the east coast. It will always be home to me.
