Did you miss me? I employed a much needed VN colon cleansing. No really, I've had a very busy year with my third child being born and work picking up. I really needed to prioritize a few things and recalibrate.

Anyways, not sure what I've missed. Ya know things like has Leb reincarnated again? Did volssam ever run out of GIFs? Is volatil gonna ever deliver a Rutherford county croot? Sheesh.

Try to destroy your competition every single time. And I could more understand the "save your energy" argument if the race was shortly after the current race. Or if it was like a 10k or marathon or something. But for 100 or 200 m sprints that are run once a day? I don't get how letting up in the last 10 meters is gonna save you much energy

Last few pages is why I love VN. We went three full pages without CrunchyLeb telling us about the lack of spaces in the class and how no major target outside the state wants to come here. Ahhhh, refreshing.

It's about conserving energy from what I can gather. These races are against the best on the planet and are decided by fractions of a second. Every little bit helps I guess. They all ease off once they know they've qualified.

Think about it, other than Bro Ham last year there's not Many true road-grading guards they recruit. They value athleticism more than anything.

Who's projected Cade Mays as a guard? Road grading RT all the way IMO. He has too much reach and good feet to project inside.

It looks like he was going in for a good hit and when Tebow lowered his head is when it became helmet to helmet.

I've been smoked head up and head down, the only way to prevent head first collisions is for a guy to take an angle shot with his heat to the side. When u lower Ur shoulders your head foes down also. It's hard to do, especially if the guy your tackling lowers his shoulders. MY thought on fixing the problem is give the guys big hip, thigh and knees pads and make them mandatory and that might slow down players some. Also, I remember when I started out playing and watching football 20+ years ago, the shoulder pads were huge and had a ton of padding. Make the shoulder pads bigger with more padding to help absorb more of the blows and possibly slow guys down

I always thought a good way to prevent head injuries would be to remove the helmets all together. What's your thoughts on that brilliant piece of wisdom?
