The difference between a 10-2, 11-1, and 12-0 is often lucky breaks. The football is a funny shaped object. All you have to do is look at the '98 season. The interference call in the Syracuse game and the infamous Clint Sturner fumble. It always takes a degree of luck to go undefeated. We're due for some of those lucky bounces.

I didn't mean to give this a like. The interference call in the Syracuse game was not luck ... their guy did commit interference, so it was a fail by one of their players, one more mistake than our guys committed against them. Best team won. :zeitung_lesen:

It may have not been luck but it was definitely a break. While it was interference, how man times does that not get called? If you look at any championship team, especially an undefeated one, you can usually go back a find a few breaks that could easily have went the other way.

As to your misplaced "like", I would give it back if I could. But, on the bright side, I suspect you have plenty left.

So it turns out the announcers for last night's Cal vs. Hawaii game weren't actually in Sydney at the game. They were at the ESPN studios watching the game on TV announcing it there. Lol.
