That's actually what I expected from the #1 QB recruit coming out of high school. I figured he would beat the rest of his competition out. We're going to unload on him though when we get our chance.

Smart was kind of an ass about Lambert on the radio in Atlanta. The hosts asked if Lambert's experience helped him and he got kind of pissed and said "He started for Schottenheimer and some guy at Virginia, not in this offense." He didn't sound very positive about Eason either.

I think so too even though I hate it for him. He's going on 37 now & his body just can't handle any punishment anymore from all the injuries.

I think he's done & wouldn't be surprised to see him retire after this season is over whether he makes it back or not.

More particularly, when you talk about your spine and back. Only behind concussion issues as a straight ticket to immediate retirement.

It really is hard to tell from that photo but the screen does look kind of low.

So the answer is that Colossus’ screens are positioned higher than what the NFL requires.”

Caldwell seems confident it's high enough. I googled it but I couldn't actually find a height for Colossus. I found something that said the NFL minimum is 85 feet, so apparently it's higher than that. We'll see.

To be fair, if Ramsey and Lambert are terrible (which they pretty much are), you may as well accept the mistakes that come along with a true freshman. The only thing you have to be careful with is his confidence, because the guy has 3x the talent as the other two.

Yep. Only worry is if he struggles a lot, do you go away from him, and what does that do to him going forward?

But given that he can hand the ball off a lot, and complete short passes to smaller WRs (since their true wide outs are lacking), he gives the offense more upside.

If it is 140 ft. high that's plenty of space for a kick/punt to not hit it.

I don't think they lose, UNC isn't that great. They were Iowa and Northwestern, winners of many bad games. UGA will lose plenty later, but I doubt it starts with UNC.

Apparently UNC's QB is a great fit in Fedoras offense. And Elijah Hood is vastly underrated nationally, I think. I bet they drop a lot of points on UGA. The question is can they stop UGA. I could see it being a 42-35 type of game.

They got up once the whole year. They got beat by a horrific USC team too. Northwestern played Stanford close, doesn't mean they were any good.

UNC is going to be great on offense with Hood and their WR's. Tribusky was 40-47 for 555 yds and 6 td's in the limited time he played last year. Everything I read says he is much more talented than Marquise Williams.
