We definitely do look better when we go fast. I can't speak specifically for how we run it, but when lots of offenses call in that initial formation and play, if the defense is lined up in a specific way, or if the QB sees that they're still not lined up, then they're supposed to run the play as soon as possible. So in some cases it's a self-fulfilling prophecy, we go fast when we see there's something we can take advantage of, so we end up looking a lot better when we do go fast. The times we can't take advantage of the D, we slow down so we don't look as good.
You and me are seeing the same thing guess most others aren'tNot off the wagon per se, but this is the most lackluster our offense has looked since Matt Simms was at the helm. Other than a handful of improvised electric runs by Dobbs and three big pass plays, we have nothing. It's not quite Crompton-bounce-pass-Clawfense bad, but it's pretty bad.
3 games makes a trend, and the trend is bad.
Umass? Yes but first game and it was half a hurricane so I could let it slide with the improvement the following week
North Texas we beat 32-0 and abused on defense all night moving the ball up and down the field with ease
"We have to get the crowd more into the game on third down." - Butch
I'll agree, hasn't been as loud on third down first two home games.

Say what you will about 3rd down for what. It was a bit cheesy. But It often got the crowd loud.
I said there will be turnovers to a guy who predicted you would have 5 we would have none
Callaway is one of the best wr in the conference goolsby is one of the best te and Powell, swain, Hammond are solid also
At rb Scarlett and Perine might surprise u they are ballers
Your defense down 2 of best makes UF's far better jmo but we absolutely loaded at DL, LB, DB
Might actually give bammer a run for their money this this year with guys like anzalone and zuniga emerging
Well try to get Callaway back, McElwain said. Hes hurting pretty good.
I dont know whether hell play or not, McElwain said. I will never play a guy thats not ready to play. Thats not fair to that person. Thats how much I care about our players. Im not going to put a guy out there on half a leg. Life is too short, and theres other guys who will step up and play."
