Focus? I don't think focusing is going to cause the injury problem to go away. Backups are backups for a reason.

This is how I feel. Once the tweets starting rolling in about who was in street clothes pre game and I saw the starting OL I told my wife it was going to be a long afternoon. Felt like auburn 2013. We just didn't have the horses.

You're the type that makes me embarrassed when other fan bases quote or show me a video of. You have lost all sense of reality and rationality.

It does matter how good Dobbs, Kamara, Kelly, or Hurd is running the ball if you can't block the other team. It doesn't matter how much of a monster Jennings is, how good Smith can run routes, how fast Byrd is, or how good Malone is on the deep ball if the line can't block for Dobbs.

This is a LOS league. We were totally outmatched (our 3's vs the best in the country). Your emotional knee-jerk reaction isn't going to change that.

You're the type of that holier than thow attitude who thinks its their way or the highway and feel like you have to try and offend people to make yourself feel better... this is an opinion board --- I'm giving my opinion just like you are, but you feel the need to try and degrade someone you don't agree with-- I am nuts, and apparently have lost all sense of reality and rationality... Really? You are showing about as much class as Scarborough did with comments like this.
Your LOS league comment only justifies my question of why then, did Dobbs not try and even the playing field and be a running threat? Hurts ATE OUR LUNCH.
Since you think this game all came down to the fact that our O line is so bad, I got news for ya buddy, it is not going to get much better, so with your logic, we should probably go ahead and mentally prepare for another loss...

Never seen injuries mount up for a team like this. Ever. Really. It's the most incredible thing I've ever seen. Just wow.

Concur. I actually wondered if Butch held some players out on purpose. A part of me wondered if he just conceded the game in a way to get guys healthy for the home stretch.

Here are the records of the teams Florida has beaten so far:

1-6
3-3
3-3
3-4
2-4

People are worried about UF running the table when they haven't beaten a ranked team yet, let alone a team with a winning record.

The problem is that's about the record of their remaining opponents.

I'm not really sure why people were expecting a win. We were mentally tired from all the games in a row and close games and we were basically starting 2's and 3s at every position against the obvious #1 team in the country.

I don't think many expected the win. Just surprised by the dooley level beat down.

Here are the records for the next 5 opponents:

2-4
2-4
3-3
2-4
3-4

Just saying. :hi:

How we finish the season will tell us more about CBJ than today's game will tell us. If we can regroup and beat USC at their place then build some momentum, then there is hope for the future.

This team is running on fumes. If we can get Foreman, DKjr, Wiesman, Robertson, Kendrick, KMac, Vickers and Cam back, then we might could make some noise. This is a great time for bye week. Time for CBJ to do some work. Shoop needs to re-evaluate defense and CBj needs to get hands on with offense. Kamara needs more touches.

IF we get another shot at them, and Cam and Kirk are back. And the OL gets healed up some. I think its a different ballgame.

I do too. We got a whooping today but that won't happen with our guys back. The loss hurts but more because it's hard to see a team this tough get embarrassed than anything else. Our starters are better than this and our backups and their backups played their hearts out but it was just too much to ask.

This was definitely not Josh's day.

It is weird. QBs with his talents are usually the ones that give Bama problems. He has never really had a good game against them, he did ok that time he came in when were down big already. Maybe he just sucks at reading the 3-4?

I hate the injuries but most of that is on team 120. We should have rolled VT, Ohio and App state. We should have handily beaten UF and UGA. Failing to take care of business against teams that shouldn't have been playing with us led to injuries and hard fought games.

Some of that's on the staff, some on the players, but this team deserves no excuses. Get healthy, take care of business from here on out.

Today sucked, no doubt about it.

But this was a game most of us had circled as a loss all season. I'm not upset about it.

Now we need to take advantage of the bye week, get healthy, and focus on our remaining SEC opponents.

Did anyone ask in post game what is happening with strength and conditioning? What the hell did the players do in camp- sit around and play video games. They must have done nothing because on top of the injuries you have undisciplined turnovers and errors. Complete opposite of last year. I would take last years injuries hands down in camp versus this.

Amen brother! It's not really all that surprising, the guys were sky high for Fla, Georgia and then Texas A&M. It is very tough for these guys to get up emotionally 4 weeks in a row. Their heart wants to but when you consider the wear and tear of this 4 week span and then take in all the injuries, it was a perfect storm for Alabama to come in and dominate.
I was really hoping I wouldn't come in here and read all the nega vols ripping coaches and players but I didn't hold out much hope. Florida will lose another conference game and we'll get another shot at Bama with most of the injured players back in rotation. All is not lost.. GBO

Reasons are not excuses. I hate that stupid cliche. If you break your ankle and can't walk. It is not an excuse to say. I can't walk because I broke my ankle. Stupidity..
