I had forgotten about that thread. It went on ignore almost as soon as it was created. If he is a man of his word and sticks to that thread...my VN enjoyment level will start creeping back up to normal level.

It really is amazing the power of VolNation. I met a person from Minnesota today and she was talking about how amazing Tennessee fans are and how she has never seen anything like it. Living in Knoxville most of my life and attending UT for undergrad and law school, it is easy for you to take something for granted. Although we do not need anybody to tell us how amazing our University is, it's always nice to see somebody acknowledge just how special Tennessee truly is. l!

I'm in Disney World with the wife and kids and have gotten several "Go Vols" shouts as I've had my UT hat on the entire time.

I was boarding a bus the day after Trey Smith committed and this guy out of nowhere does "we got a big commitment yesterday, didn't we? Let's hope that brings in some more"

Volnation (including the recruitnik portion) is everywhere.

On the flip side ... I've run into two people sporting Florida gear who made pretty rude comments, which is all the more incredible because I'm with my wife and kids at the "happiest place on earth" for goodness sake.

I've passed Bama fans, VT fans, Nebraska fans, lots of people sporting other gear and the two douche bags have been Gator fans.
