Lmao okay undercover gamecock. Just check back later. Obviously the field is all that matters but those casinos weren't built Bc they were always losing.
undercover gamecock?😂 Okay. I go to USC and I write for the sports section of the school newspaper. There's a lot of positive buzz around here about the team and there's good reason for it. The offense looks dynamic and the defense has a lot of upside. Muschamp is getting back arguably the best linebacker in the SEC in skai Moore and the secondary is adding two dynamic players in jamyest Williams and keisean Nixon (a player we wanted and tried to get). Now the defensive line is a huge question mark but if it is mediocre this will be a dangerous football team in the east. They worry me more than Florida

Clemson fans are worried about their offense too

They really shouldn't be. They have a ridiculously good OL, great WR's (plus they added a bunch of good ones), and Tavien Feaster to step in at RB. They also have 2 4* and a 5* competing to take over the QB spot. They will probably beat South Carolina 50 something to 7 again.

A levelheaded friend, who I trust his opinion on SC, said his biggest question mark was the Dline's pass rush. He also had question marks on The oline.

I am glad we get them at home this year and hope we crush them! 🍊🍊🍊🍊

That 5* was overrated (even people on this board thought that when he was committed to us) and the two 4*s don't look good. Doesn't matter how many great receivers you have if you can't get them the ball. Feaster is a great talent and will probably be fine and you're right about the Oline. Like I said. I'm thinking 05 Vols for Clemson this year. Great defense, bad offense finish anywhere from 6-6 to 8-4.

From what I've seen of the team that sums it up. I haven't mentioned the Oline because I think they'll be OK and get better as the season goes on. Also I agree! Very glad we have them at home. Need to get revenge not just against them but against muschamp for his comments after that 2014 game

Not every commit we take is boom worthy, especially this early. I am less than impressed with tingle and cross who look like average cornerbacks, with below average height, at a position of great need and weakness for us. I hope these commits are part of their approach to take commits early for recruiting inroad purposes. We seem to do this a lot in the state of Florida.

I get the upside people are seeing with USCe, but I'm gonna have to see what kind of step forward Bentley makes as a sophomore before I buy into them being more than a 6-7 win team. He played well against some bad defenses and poorly against good defenses.

Take Western Carolina, UF and Clemson out of the equation and his avaerage opposing defense was ranked 108th in total defense and 96th in passing defense.

It wouldn't surprise me to see him have a bit of a "sophomore slump" compared to what people are expecting out of him in 2017.

UT faced some big inuries in 05, we also had a divided locker room/staff. Some wanted Clausen to start others wanted Ainge. We didn't go 5-6 just because our offense was bad.

that doesnt have a damn thing to do with THIS season either. They do know more than you though.
Actually this is something I would say I know more than them about. Dead serious. If they really think vandy is better than SC then there is either something wrong with them or they're not paying attention. Want to go make easy money? Take the over on SC winning 5 games.

Didn't know that but QB play is still ultimately what hurt that team it sounds like. It will hurt Clemson this year IMO

I think SC will be pretty solid but Have you seen SC's schedule? A&M and Ark in the west, Florida, UGA, Tennessee, Clemson. NCState is no joke either, add in UK and 6 wins will not be easy to get.

Schedule is tough no doubt. However, A&M will not be very good this year, they get Florida at home and if the defense is decent they should beat them (you know muschamp wants to get a win against them), NCST is a toss up I think, UK is a team they keep losing to for no reason maybe they get over the hump this year, and this is the one time I think carolina can beat Clemson by taking advantage of having a better QB. Ark, us, and UGA are going to be really tough for them to win. I think USC finishes with 7 or 8 wins but gives everyone they play a tough time

I've got them going 6-6. Losses to AU, Louisville, FSU, NCST, SC, and then they drop one of GT/VT. Again I'm thinking that the offense will be anemic due to poor QB play

Wishful thinking huh? That defense will DOMINATE every game they play this year. If they end up back in the playoffs don't be surprised. Best defense in the country this upcoming season.

Teams won't underestimate them either this upcoming season.

The thing that makes me wary of predicting too much from them is that they've got talent at a lot of skill positions but seem to be lacking up front on offense AND defense.

Unless their lines take unexpectedly large steps forward, they're gonna have to get creative at times to make up for them.

If Tennessee loses to South Carolina again next year if I'm Currie I'd be tempted to fire Jones on the spot. Tennessee better stomp a mudwhole in their rear end.

And if Tennessee beats the snot out of usc, should CBJ get a raise and extension on the spot?

I honestly don't understand "fans" like you...I guess you're just keeping it real?

I am more the "fan"atic type that looks forward to the upcoming season as a chance for our team to have great games. I think this team will surprise the media and realists.
