I can't wait to see what Murphy and Jacquez Jones can do. Need to put on a little weight but I think they'll be good. Heck, I'm also excited about Palmer. He's raw but has a high ceiling imo

I am concerned about the offensive line this year. Having Dobbs back there was a godsend because he could get away from pressure. Dormandy is an athlete, but he is not the runner that Dobbs was. The offensive line is going to need better pass protection and actually open up holes in the running game that does not involve the read option. If they do that, then this will be a successful season.

Just because we return a lot of starters? Did you see how many times a three man rush got to Dobbs last year? Or how many times our running backs have gotten hit in the backfield since CBJ has been here? The only reason we made a bowl in 2014 was because Dobbs could run for his life. They need to take a huge step forward this year if this team wants more than 8 wins.

I really hope we give Butch and this new staff a chance if he doesn't win the east. I expect us to win 9-11 games, but I think with this staff and the way Butch is recruiting, the future is only getting brighter. We've already got the best staff in the east, hope we can capitalize on it

It was hard for us older fans to accept the changing dynamics of HS football in this state.

Not that long ago, Tennessee would produce 5-7 D1 prospects each year. It was important to land those players for us.

Now the state is loaded. Several D1 players across the state. Producing as much if not more talent than Alabama.

I post this in response to losing recruits like Teague. The more talent production the less likely a school will pull all the players. Sure you want the best players from the state but it's not "crucial" as it once was.

Butch Jones is the damn man that is all

Really happy with these two rb commits. Not the blue chip 5 star talent, but both really good backs that fit the system and can do a bit of everything. Both should see their fair share of touches here. Was hoping early on we could take these two, and as rarely happens, we got both. BOOM.

Not a lot of blue chip RB recruits this class. We got two good ones.
