Heres a question. How would you rank the top 3 QB's since Shuler. Don't rank someone based strictly off wins or championship, as those mid and late 2000's and 2010's don't compare to 90's Vols. Mine would be:
1 Manning
2 Shuler
3 Dobbs (I know this one won't sit well with a lot of you lol)
1 Manning
2 Shuler
3 C. Clausen/Dobbs. Not sure which one I would put ahead of the other, but the Iceman has to be in the conversation IMO.
Why do people think we lose to LSU? They lost to Florida last year. 10 wins or bust
That's where I'm at. Sure, it's a toss up, but I don't get it being chalked up as a sure L.
Ed Orgeron is the coach. I realize he has supposed wizard coordinators, but he has his hand on the wheel.
He's the ultimate rah-rah, sugar high coach and we catch them late in the year. We'll see where they're at.
I was originally gonna do top 5 but figured that'd be too easy. Think everyone would have Clausen, Dobbs and then either Ainge or Martin as the final 1. Although I do think if Bray had a better coach he would definitely be in this conversation. Or had he not got hurt vs Uga as a sophomore
Bray could have possibly been in Top 3 conversation IMO, with better coaching....and mental discipline. He was probably the most talented passing QB of all of them.
JMO of course.

I agree, think he lost only one road game, including beating Miami when they were stacked, at notre dame, at fl, at bama, etc. Was really good qb. Should've played for the championship in 01. Damn you lsu
