AK wasn't an every down back.

He was prone to fumbling.

Hurd was on pace to break rushing record as a junior so he must have been doing something right.

In order to use AK effectively you had to be creative in how to get him the ball.

The offense did pretty well in the two years AK was here.

The "Kamara was underutilized" argument is sooooo overstated by this fan base.

I'd love to see you post per carry fumble stats for Kamara along with that reasoning you always give.

IMO in 2015 they should've had Hurd and Kamara on the field together a lot more. That was our most dangerous package that year.

It made for a lot of potential mismatches since Kamara had the skill set to flex out into the slot and Hurd had the blocking/receiving skill set of an H Back. With our struggles in the passing game in 2015, I still don't get why we didn't go to that look more.

3.5 fumbles per 100 carries in 2016. Highest in the jones era for a running back.

FWIW, I read in the practice thread about one player giving Wiggins grief for still having a black stripe and some other defenders like Warrior coming to his aid. Also, Shoop (or maybe warren or Butch...one of them?) in a post practice interview mentioned that he's already fitting in and meshing well with the other DBs.


So I'm not too worried, yet.

Feel free to comment on the Kamara post and I will continue to talk about it. Just think we could have been a better offensive team in 2015 if Kamara is used more. Same for early 2016.
