Gimme a damn break dude... If it was the worst there would be apathy. We fill the stadium. We buy the merch. We travel well.
Maybe you should drink your own medicine catbone. You do realize you are part of that vocal minority of the fanbase that often crow loudest and most to satisfy whatever it is inside them that requires them to act that way...........
Doesn't sound like Wiggins will do much for us
I'm curious about this because the coaches speak highly of his talent but say he is having to adjust to our culture. Warren today implied it should be easier for Wiggins than for a new freshmen but everything else that's being said seems to suggest that the clulture adjustment may be easier right now for the freshmen than for Wiggins. By all their accounts Wiggins is good and very talented so I have a question. What is it about our culture that is challenging for a seasoned veteran of both the SEC and ACC? Pace of practice? taking coaching? what? Warren says when Wiggins gets the culture down he'll marry that with his talent and just take off. So what's the deal? Does culture = attitude?
People talk about how their O-line is supposed to be so good. I dont see it. Theyre pretty average, and I dont see any early-round NFL talent. Their wideouts look good, but theyre inconsistent, and they dont have a No. 1 guy. New offensive coordinator Matt Canada is creative and good at finding ways to run the ball even when the box is loaded, and he is a great play-caller. Hell be 10 plays ahead and put plays together that look alike but are very different. But those receivers better get in shape because of all the motioning and shifts hell do; their legs will be gone by October.
I think seniors Nick Chubb and Sony Michel are both quality SEC backs. Theyre not the premier backs in the league, but theyre good players. They have a big offensive line as always; I didnt think they were overly tough last year.
On defense theyre solid. I didnt think their corners were very impressivethey werent dynamic physically or with playmaking ability. Pretty solid guys, but they didnt seem to be those big corners you see at LSU and some other schools in the conference.
Bruin,Darth,
You need to understand scouting more in this context. An organization doesn't want their true feelings out there to influence others. One organization would want others to draft a kid they don't believe in. Thus even if unnamed organizations have something to lose with such things being out there.
That was phenomenal hustle by Tuttle, but doesn't hold a candle to what Foreman did causing the A&M RB to fumble the ball out of the endzone. I don't do this often, but I agree with Bruin...might be the GOAT when it comes to hustle plays in TN football history.
