If we lose regular season chances are good we're not playing for the SECCG unless we're a top 5 team in the country that runs the table otherwise. I don't like a system that requires you to be a top 5 team every single year just to win your division. And the only people who still view Bama as a top 2 UT rivalry are older Tennessee fans, no one else in the country sees that as a rivalry anymore. UF UGA are our rivals in most people's minds.

Actually, if you go look at various sporting news sources top 25 rivalry rankings in college football, including one where the title of the article is "Ranking the 30 hottest rivalries in College Football right now," you don't see UT vs UGA or UT vs UF on any of those lists. You know what you do see on most of them? UT vs. Bama. Just saying. :whistling:

What the hell is Woody talking about? Ron posted a quote of Woody in the Harris thread where he said "Mays struggled mightily at the Nike camp in Atlanta" I don't remember anybody saying before that he "struggled mightily". Rivals gas become a political, money grubbin joke.

They are a complete joke at this point..pay for stars or else. I guarantee you they drop him down again before it's over. He is having some kind of minor surgery if I remember correctly, so they'll definitely use that as an excuse.

For the last 5 years or so? Sure.

But not "every single year" since 1992.

LSU & Auburn have both had multiple seasons in the recent past where they were better than Alabama.

My apologies for the random post but does Missouri piss anybody else off besides me? They do not belong in the SEC. Watching the little special they're having on them on the SEC Network. No tradition, the fan base sucks, and so do most of their athletic programs. Nothing about that school screams SEC.

Agree. There were so many fantastic runs, some of them were just short runs that didn't result in TDs but they were still great. Dobbs reminded me of Barry Sanders in that he always seemed like he could make something out of nothing with his athleticism.

To be the man, you've got to beat the man. We need to pull up our big boy pants and go make the Third Saturday in October meaningful again. Fans dont need to be scared and cry about fairness in the schedule. The players need to line up and knock somebody in the jaw and score some points. We own UGA and finally realized we can beat Florida anytime we want, so now is the time to take down Bama. Don't live scared boys.
