Blake Bortles similarly had great numbers his first preseason game and had people putting him into the Hall of Fame.
I watched most of Trubisky's throws. Wasn't impressed. He lacked the poise and calm I saw from Watson a day earlier.
Trubisky = fools gold
He'll flame out once the real games start like Bortles.
As long as the interviews aren't coming from the NCAA it shouldn't be anything to worry about. Is that the rumor or not?

UT fired Butch's long-term ops guy for gross misconduct, so that gets people's attention. IDK if the NCAA is sniffing around, but they won't find anything that wasn't found by UT auditors, state auditors and an independent accounting firm.
All auditors conduct interviews. The investigation has been ongoing for 18 months, which means nothing more than it's a slow process, it has been very thorough and UT is cooperating fully.
It's simple for me. If there are indeed interviews taking place and the NCAA are the ones conducting them this is a worry. If it's just part of the legal issues without the NCAA being involved then it's a non story.
If you think the NCAA is going to find something the UT auditors, the state auditors, an independent accounting firm and UT counsel missed, then okay. We're talking hundreds-- maybe thousands-- of manhours pouring over UT's books looking for irregularities and talking to people who worked with the guy.
