Butch is gonna go 12-0 this year and have the #1 recruiting class ready to go. Then sour grapes Spognardi will go Houston Nutt on the program and get him fired.

Coming off the top rope into the first page

This one still won't get us to football season though most likely.

Blake Bortles similarly had great numbers his first preseason game and had people putting him into the Hall of Fame.

I watched most of Trubisky's throws. Wasn't impressed. He lacked the poise and calm I saw from Watson a day earlier.

Trubisky = fools gold

He'll flame out once the real games start like Bortles.

I think you were watching Glennon. Trubiski has location, spin on ball, pace and mobility. You obviously weren't watching the game.

As long as the interviews aren't coming from the NCAA it shouldn't be anything to worry about. Is that the rumor or not?

I wouldn't even classify it as a rumor when it comes from one person that hasn't given us a reason to believe he didn't exaggerate the story like he did with Jack Jones. He took a missing from a Sunday practice article one day and turned it into Jack quit rumor. When it ends up Jack had a personal obligation to take care of and was right back next practice. Never seen anyone else remotely mention NCAA. He prob heard people interviews and assumed it was NCAA and not accounting auditors with nothing to do with ncaa

UT fired Butch's long-term ops guy for gross misconduct, so that gets people's attention. IDK if the NCAA is sniffing around, but they won't find anything that wasn't found by UT auditors, state auditors and an independent accounting firm.

All auditors conduct interviews. The investigation has been ongoing for 18 months, which means nothing more than it's a slow process, it has been very thorough and UT is cooperating fully.

It's simple for me. If there are indeed interviews taking place and the NCAA are the ones conducting them this is a worry. If it's just part of the legal issues without the NCAA being involved then it's a non story.

Good grief Rock got these boys pumping iron. Kendrick putting up more reps than Kmac is eye opening to his progression strength wise. I knew he looked much different in pictures this year but dang.

These OL going to be much tougher this year... hopefully

Don't be raining on people's parades. There are folks longing for negativity around here.

Oops, my bad. CBJ may close more practices, the WRs have too many drops and both QBs looked tired yesterday. That should get the handwringing going.

If you think the NCAA is going to find something the UT auditors, the state auditors, an independent accounting firm and UT counsel missed, then okay. We're talking hundreds-- maybe thousands-- of manhours pouring over UT's books looking for irregularities and talking to people who worked with the guy.

Thank God a new thread.

Let's focus on what matters. Here's some dead yellow jackets.

I don't want any part of the NCAA looking around into a situation where cash money was used within our football program. Auditors need a paper trail to locate problems. The NCAA only needs word of mouth. I really hope the NCAA isn't involved here which is what the OP suggested.
